Hey there! I'm unsure if you're still responding to comments since this video was a while back but how did you get your symbol to play on the canvas without having to preview the "movie" itself? Mine seems to remain still whilst yours happens to show the animation within the symbol when you play your timeline. Edit: I actually just figured it out right after I commented this! You have your symbol set as a graphic, that makes sense. Apologizes for the confusion!

I'm trying to create an eye rig. If you set up a head like you did (around 20min) with all the single frame head/nose/eye options, then where does the blinking eye looping layer go?

Is there a way to find out where a symbol has been used? I seem to have lost a fair chunk of work, but see that the 'use count' might point me towards parts of my animations embedded in other symbols...

Hey Joey! It does look like your secondary screen is BenQ 2700U, I just got one of these puppies few days ago. But it's causing an avalanche of problems for me. I have to say that the monitor itself is amazing, it's the Windows/Adobes issue. Since it's 4K in 27" display, I have to scale it up to 150% to be able to work on it. But this scaling makes my AE UI slow and unresponsive, especially the timeline, it even jumps a bit when I touch the play head. Basically I can't work on it. This only happens with the scaling on, I have everything up to date, been through all the forums and the info I could find, and it seems there are others who have an array of similar problems. There's nothing on an issue from Adobe as well. I'd probably have to send it back, but I'm in Malta and shipping's not cheap, also this was a bday present for myself, so you know, I'm emotionally attached to it now. Just wondered weather anyone from your crew had any similar problems/know how to fix it? I'd be eternally grateful for your help!

How are you changing the shape of the eye at 10:31? When I try to edit the symbol it changes the symbol in all frames.

He was inside the symbol and he pushed F6 to make a duplicate (new drawing) version of the same eye. Then adjusted the New duplicate

You add frames by pressing F5. I am not sure how to delete these frames as he does at 13:11 though.... There are also other useful shortcuts like: Add new keyframe by pressing F6. New blank keyframe F7.
