What are other places where you use Teflon on saxophone?

We use it any place where we want to eliminate sliding friction between two keys, whether the teflon is used in sheet form or tube form. Great thing about teflon is you don't have to oil and grease it!

It is absurd that after more than one hundred and fifty years cork, leather , and felt are as yet being used as standard repair or original materials on saxophones manufactured in the most modern of factories.What would really and truly be appreciated is a list of alternate materiels. Particularly some modern easily available for key corks.Flutes from the earliest days have done away with key corks and have been fitted with adjustment screws.Why oh why in God’s green acre are saxophones as yet using cork?

Thank you for your reply and the information. I live ina third world country where just two of the materials are available. Teflon would probably be the best material, but how in the world would it be possible to cement it to the key feet and elsewhere?@@MusicMediccom
