I live in Texas, and after the 2021 storm I got an ac200max and b300 battery. second storm happened last month and we were without power for a week. that system and heated blanket saved us after Texas failed us. weather you get this or something else, I can't recommend something like this enough. It was literally a life saver.

I know a couple of Ukrainians who could really use that. One of them said her town is only allowed 4 hours of power a day at the moment. This would be an epic game changer for them. Wish I was wealthy. :)

It's tough getting this tech out to different regions. ABSOLUTELY an area of privilege for people like me. Thankfully, the tech is falling in price DRAMATICALLY. A battery solution like this used to be significantly more expensive for poorer performance a couple years ago. Hopefully more folks will be able to use these kinds of solutions in the near future.

Battery packs do have their uses, but mostly short term....very short term. There are also small displacement gas inverter generators that can easily run a cpap machine and never kick out of eco mode. I live in Florida, where a hurricane can easily knock out your power for a week. I promise you that after 24 hours, you will be connecting your power bank to a gas gen set to keep your food from spoiling. Experience talking here.

Two solar related questions. Is there a way to get power directly from solar panels plugged into unit? (In other words, pass-by drawing power from battery) And… can I charge unit with solar while at the same time having unit plugged into AC? Reason I ask, I looked at the online manual and it said unit needs to be grounded, which I assume is via 3 prong ac plug. Thanks for informative video!

Love the review, thanks! I'm looking for moderate solar power on our motorhome, mainly to charge e bike batteries but would use excess power to boondock. I'm trying to calculate how much power I'd have left after charging ebike batteries. We have 2 Lectric 3.0 long range bikes. They are 48 volt and 13 ah batteries. I'm a newbie to all this and want to confirm that would total 1248 watts leaving me 800 watts to use for charging devices or tv or other things. Is that math right?

Awesome! One question, are you able to manual adjust the recharge rate of the battery? For example, if I want to charge the battery at a slower rate in order to avoid tripping a breaker, is that possible?
@trutranx
@trutranx Жыл бұрын
Yes you can. Using the bluetooth app, you can change the "AC Recharging Power" mode from "High-Speed Recharge" (default mode) which can draw up to a maximum of 1440W to "Silent Recharge" which will reduce the wattage draw to a maximum of 700W.

@@SomeGadgetGuy yea I was just about to buy the EcoFlow Delta Pro after ruling out a Bluetti. Now this has come along and I am considering a 767 along with the expansion battery. It comes in £300 cheaper here in the UK than the Delta Pro and gives 4,100 kWh instead of the Delta Pro’s 3,600 kWh. Slightly more power and hundreds of pounds cheaper. I have also used plenty of Anker power banks over the years and been pretty happy.

What no one knows or hears about is how much power this unit as well as most all the major brands, like delta and bluetti, is simply turning on the AC ports drains your battery at 20 to 30 watt hours. Utter waste. Plug nothing in this anker, turn on the AC port and ut will drain in 2.4 days. The ONLY generator that uses less than 3 watts is the Jackery 2000 pro and 20 pounds lighter. Anker is probably better than the others although over priced, except the Jackery. If you are only running high watt appliances, then adding 30 watts more may not seem like much but I used this to run a 10 watt router for wifi and it shows it can run it for 52hours. The jackery showed 99 hrs because that's the max the displays shows, but ran it for over 175 hrs. 3 times longer than anker. Ankers flaws are weight and high draw inverters. Pros are RV outlet and lifepo4 batteries. Jackery flaws are batteries, no rv outlet and over priced solar panels, pros are it runs longer, especially for low watt items. Has the best inverter even though it's a single.

I have a Bluetti AC300 with 9 kilowatt hours of batteries. Just made it through the Austin, TX ice storm very comfortably compared to most. We went three days without power. I'm posting this because the batteries only held up for 2 days so on day 3 I turned on my propane generator to charge the batteries back to full. Moral of the story? Have DIFFERENT energy sources ladies and gentlemen. I have a solar generator (with expansion batteries), a propane generator and a regular gas generator. Have as many energy sources as you can afford.

I really want to perform live music in downtown cities! I have a full size keyboard, a mixing board, powered speaker and microphone. I was hoping you would show us how quiet this generator is. Obviously better than the gas powered generators I have used, but still curious because I am considering purchasing the Anker 767. It does seem like I could perform for many hours running my equipment, so that is epic! Probably the quietest generator I can get for my concert in the city performances I’m thinking. But maybe I could manage fine with the 757? That would be more affordable and quieter? It’s a hard call, but I truly want to do this jamming downtown idea! So any advice would be amazing, thanks!

Okay this is not the best review of this device and actually that big port on the front is a 30 amp charger which you can actually plug directly into your electrical box or panel in your garage or wherever you have your main electrical panel and it can actually run your entire house just look at some of the other reviews of this and they will tell you this is in comparison to the eco flow-. As you can tell he's really big into computers I've been following this guy for a long time so this is a complete different segment so he doesn't know as much about it but being a person that lives with consistent blackouts this is a game changer because it's a lot smaller and it has the battery technology that retains the battery cells for a lot longer

One owner on Amazon reported that the 20a sockets on his 767 are wired backwards. That the hot was connected to the "T" shaped hole while the neutral was connected to the short slot. This is bass-ackwards from any code you care to reference. Further the 30a socket was correctly wired. I know that these things are non-bonded BUT if the 20a sockets are not wired according to code.... Have any of you that own one of these tested the sockets on your 767 to check for correct wiring? Quote from Amazon " I purchased my unit directly from Anker. When I received my unit, I did a basic functional test of the features and discovered that all four NEMA 5-20R receptacles (the 4 AC plugs) on the front of my unit were mis-wired, and that hot and neutral are swapped. The "T" slot should be neutral, and the regular slot should be hot. They're all backwards on my unit. The TT-30R (RV plug) is wired correctly, however. This is a significant safety concern, because ground is often left floating on DC-to-AC power supplies because there is no connection to Earth. As a result, some people will use a plug that shorts neutral to ground to allow certain types of devices to work correctly (like portable car chargers). In my case, if I plug one of the neutral-to-ground adapters in my unit, it will blow the breaker because it shorts the neutral to hot, instead of the neutral to ground."
