I’m using two 1TB cards for live and also 1TB for the front.

Thanks for the info! More and more people are becoming aware that you can exceed the Behringer recommended 32gigs for recording. What they are not aware of is the programs or the Mac computer requirements to do so. In my 7+ years of using the Rack and 2 S16s, I can't recall a time I needed to record a show over 4 hours long, but you never know, so I keep a second set of 32gig cards handy.

I’ve been trying to figure out if the x32 is capable of recording each track through usb directly to daw without having to use the cards?

You must have the USB Expansion Card to multi track record.

It could be a bug in the X32 Edit software, I really don't know. But since I started using MSP, I have not had this issue.

Can you go 32 tracks out of the DAW into the x32 live and record your DAW for backup or summing purposes?

You are limited by the X32 Firmware for sending or receiving 32 tracks.

Dana, I am not understanding... Where is the virtual soundcheck... Lets use this an an example... Band is recorded using input channels 1-16 to an XLIVE CARD playback of the XLIVE is currently routed to channels 17-32 To do a virtual soundcheck with this... how to I route these tracks through to channels 1-16 without creating a new scene... because a true virtual sound seems to be (correct me if I am wrong) taking a recorded track or source signal set and routing it through the channel strips of inputa that are to be used for live performance. Now doing that how do we do that without changing the Scene... is there a way to do this Cue Snippet New Scene without having to go to the routing page each time (high possibility for error) What I would love is to make two cues on a scene. LIVE VIRTUAL SOUNDCHECK So I can cue up the virtual soundcheck do the work. Which is also so the Musicians can mix their in ears.. save it to the scene then hit back to the live scene where it saves all the setting bur changes only the routing... I answered your question in the community, but I will answer it here as well. A virtual sound check is simply playing back any/all tracks recorded on the XLive Card, DAW or External Recorder. The tap point for recording on any X/M32 Mixer is input > pre-amp > card out. These are recorded raw, meaning no effects are recorded or embedded in these tracks. When you play these tracks back, they will bypass the preamp and go through any channel strip processing or FX you are using. If you are recording channels 1-16, then that is where the channels will play back to. That's the whole purpose of dong a VSC.
