Thank you so much for figuring out the measurements in inches. I use my Filofax daily and now that you have showed me how to make pages fit I am definitely a happy camper. Thank you mucho❤️

I just used your formula to create some dividers for my planner - THANK YOU! It works perfectly, and can easily be tweaked a little for slightly bigger or smaller inserts. You have saved me a major headache!!!

I know this is an older video, but THANK YOU SO MUCH! Saved me so much time and headache. I have a large Kikki K, and I made my own 6x9 inserts. I used the same steps as you, but instead of the slider at 1 3/4 and 2, I used 2 and 2 1/4. It worked perfectly! Thanks again! I love your blog :)

This is awesome! I was impressed with Linda's instructions for the personal size and now the A5....now I need someone to figure out the pocket size!

I will definitely try this out. Thank you for figuring out how to punch holes for the A5. I have the Rapesco punch but need to punch half of the holes first then the other half.

You are awesome!!!, I am so happy for watching this video, you just solve a big issue for me, I have the Cinch but I was thinking in purchasing one of those 6 hole puncher, and none of them on the market was suitable for me, this was the best!! thank you for sharing!!

Thank you for taking the time to figure this out for us and giving me another use for my cinch! Since this was the best video for punching the A5 size with the Cinch I thank you again and thought I'd share what I found in punching my Erin Condren to fit into my new FiloFax. I got the Domino in the bright pink because I love flamingos and it reminds me of them. Anyway, couple of things 1) if you are having problems pulling and pushing the knobs in on your Cinch if you move the cutting bar a little bit it helps to loosen it up so the knobs are much easier to pull and push. 2) Erin Condren is a bit larger than a regular A5 sheet such as those that came with the Filofax. I took your measurements and 'tested' a sheet and found that there was more at the top when I used your slide bar measurement and left the knobs the same as yours. I pushed my slide bar up to 2 and 2 1/4, respectively for the cuts and they came out exactly centered from the bottom without the extra at the top. I hope that made sense. 3) The cover is another challenge in that it is larger than the pages and I fixed that first by cutting of all of the clear laminate but about 1/16" from the insert in the laminated page. I kept all the knob measurements but I increased the side slide lever to 2 3/16" and 2 7/16" and the cover fit perfectly. Thank you again for taking all the time to figure this out to share such an informative video.

Karen Schaible-DeGrazia Great! I really appreciate you sharing your feedback and your findings. I will have to also try this with my Erin Condren Life Planner. I'm glad you found my video helpful! =)

Thank you for this. The holes line up better if you flip the page and punch again using the 1 3/4" formula. I hate pushing and pulling the pegs, they hurt my fingers and other pegs come down when they aren't suppose to. Grrrrr. I bot the Cinch moons ago and found it really annoying. The Bind-It-All is a better tool for book binding. Anyway, glad that this Cinch is coming in handy for once! Thanks again!

Hi Jennifer, why don't you just turn the paper around and punch the holes the other way? It may save you the time repositioning the paper and putting in the new punches?

Wouldn't it work to just keep the slider at 1 3/4" and the 1, 4 & 11 levers...punch and then flip the paper and punch again? Maybe save a little time? I do this with my adjustable hole punch.

Can you please explain how to use the Cinch if your page has a fraction, for example what if it's 7 3/4 height? I couldn't find any suggestions in the manual, and only one video. Please help if you can. Thanks

How many sheets of paper can the Cinch punch at once?
@craftecowgirl6 жыл бұрын
Why cant you just flip paper long ways after punching first holes, without having to change settings? And your paper looks bigger then a5, which should be 5.8 x 8.3 in
@sambalbalado27045 жыл бұрын
You can actually punch the paper with flipping the paper without changing the number

I got my Cinch today. I wasn't crazy about the binding sizes that came with it. I have a feeling the wire binding is going to be costly. Does anyone know if Joann's or Michaels, Hobby Lobby etc carries binding that will work with this machine?
@mypurpleylife8 жыл бұрын
countrybunkin 1974 yes, I've seen the wire bindings at all those craft stores. Don't forget to use your coupons! Also, try checking Blitsy.com and Scrapbook.com which has them for less than $3.00 a pair.

I bought the filofax punch. It was expensive and you can only do a page or two at a time. This is a great idea if you need to punch more pages.
