Hi Philip Thank you for that. It is often a problem that people give up with tools or keep on purchasing new ones in the hope that it will improve their turning, when all is needed is one good tool and a basic knowledge of tool presentation and we are away. Does the tool work on side grain. I'm not talking about bowls three feet across and two feet deep, but would it work on small bowl blanks?
