Great tutorial - I especially like the approach of creating a simple pen and paper overview at the beginning, it's a really succinct way of outlining what your about to explain. Looking forward to the array tutorial!

Thanks so much! It's a bit of extra work to film/edit it this way, but I also think it helps with explaining certain things 😄

10/10 for showing how things work with the physical visuals. I used to do stuff like that all the time when studying computer science, helps so much.

Glad you like it Gavin! Always takes some extra time to create & film those physical visuals, but I've the feeling it's easier to understand that way! 🙌

Maybe you can help me: I have a problem because in the step after iterator there is no value option to select when i want to take this variable... but whole payload is almost the same. What might be a problem here?

Thank for the tutorial. I have a question. If I have a form with these data response options: email, name, message, attachments. What is the "correct" way to set it up in integromat? Since the user may or may not add a message, and they may or may not add an attachment, and they also may add multiple attachments. Do I have to use a combination of the interator and ignore? Not sure how the modules should be set up "properly".

Would love more info on how to generate conditional sections of documents based on data. My use case: I have Airtable data that has clients, categories, varying number of items for each category and then 5 criteria for each item (that's not complex at all, is it? LOL). The way I currently have my data set up, each Airtable record has a unique item (with corresponding fields for the client name/category name/item name/and the other 5 field names). Essentially, I want to prepare a Google Doc for each client that includes tables for each category. I would like the rows of each table to be dynamically added based on the number of items for each category. Caveat: another possibility is "null" where there should be a different text displayed altogether if no items in that category exist. Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated!

Hey! Your videos are amazing! Can you do a video on what the "get variable" and "set variable" functions do? I'm stuck on trying to figure out an issue and I"m wondering if those functions can help, but I don't understand what they do even after trying a bunch of different tests. I'm basically trying to get the output from one app (clickup) which is a number to instead output the text field that corresponds to that number. They have custom fields (example: job type) and instead of returning the text drop down (paint) it returns the number of that dropdown (1). Thank you!

Hey Chloe! Good idea, wrote it down! The set variable & get variable work hand-in-hand. You set a variable, that you can then get in a different route in your scenario. So you wouldn't use it to get a variable from another application, just a variable that you've set earlier yourself. To get an item out of an array, which you described, you might want to watch this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/roWve5iLpd56qKs Hope that helps!

What if there is multiple bundles and I want to run a task once a day and add to a crm …. For example a list of for submissions that need to be looped and mapped to a crm? Would it be best to iterate the bundles then map what ever needs to be mapped to the crm?
