I gave this a try. A fun thing which seemed a little broken: The 'hive' maps. Pair two upgrades and it was non stop gems. Forget the names, one causes enemies to explode when killed, the other makes enemies drop gems when killed. Why is this broken here? A large section of the map has tiles that spawn bees when dug up. And the bees then explode, making gems, breaking more tiles....which spawn more bees...

I know Matt isn't a mining engineer, but it's constantly bugging me that he uses "strip mining" incorrectly. Strip mining, or stripping is removing the topsoil from ore bodies, as part of open cast mining process. The way you develop the ground is called "driveage".
