lurch strafes. just tap strafing basically if you are walking left you can jump hit the opposite directional key and tap strafe

its just a ras strafe. move left ras strafe right or vice versa. and fyi its only effective against bad players or at super close ranges where the change in vertical and horizontal movement can throw some people off. i wouldn't get in the habit of moving like that because you are extremely easy to read when you're in the air like that not to mention continuously spamming it means you aren't actually moving that much and probably will get beamed by most controller players. same deal with ad spamming. both are a very common bad habit of mnk players (myself included) which makes them easy to hit. it's also been around long enough for people to not be thrown off by it as much in general (probably 3 years).

@@Crimsonwanderer27 well the reason ras strafing isnt as effective as you may think is because the amount of time you spend in a predictable arc. when you bhop lurch your jumps are shorter and the time between your ground contact (opportunities to lurch) is shorter than when you ras strafe without fatigue. wall jumping in the open is pretty dumb too for this reason, unless you are close enough to them where you actually break los. the less airtime the better but if your lobbies arent that good then ig it doesnt matter
