The plus and minus buttons are the tension levels. I have 4c hair too and usually have mine on the 6 or 7 tension level. Also halfing your sections to make a smaller section might help too. I also detangle my hair with a paddle brush halfway through drying to make sure it's extra straight. Hopes this helps if you try it again! 😊

I’m 4c too. I found out that it has to be damp and you have to have a good crème heat protectant not spray with cool to keep it from drying out.

Your hair is beautiful. I have “4C” hair. Our hair needs moisture as you stated. You have to detangle and leave slightly damp in smaller sections. Also consider other products that may soften hair better. Another thing when our ends are untangled any manipulation of the hair works better. I appreciate this video. Great job!

I'm glad that I actually saw your video and one other that told the truth about this. I've tried it on myself and my three kids and we all have different textures. No one talks about how dry your hair will feel, and it will look crunchy. I feel like it added to my split ends as well.

I was wondering why my 4c hair felt like that after using the revair and yes nobody talks about that. I was starting to think that it was my hair and not the revair.
@tiarrabiggs Жыл бұрын
@hairicome7613 It's not your hair It's the revair. I'll use it but have to go over my hair with the Revlon brush or it will feel dry and brittle. I let the 30 days pass so I cast return it.

Thanks, I will try something else. I had to pay custom fees to get the revair so it was pretty expensive and disappointing. I have it for a over a year now.

Oh no I hate this, I use adwoa beauty blue tansey and put leave in, serum, and heat protectant before using and rewet my hair in sections, I have real 4c hair and it turns out soft and my roots are perm straight with rest of my hair blown out with a bit of texture on a height suction high heat, I used the leave in+ w/o reading the directions and I’m glad I did I couldn’t imagine not having anything on my hair it would be horrible, since you all already have it I would give it a try maybe on a lower suction and blast with cold shot for about 10 section on each section

I think you should give it another shot and do smaller sections and put moisture in your hair like spritz it with water and heat protectant and some leave in conditioner

The hair appeared way too dry. That's the effect you get if hair hasn't been cleaned condition and rinsed prior to using the mechanism. Also, smaller sections, as others have said. You still have a head filled with beautiful healthy hair. Thx for sharing Doll🌿🌺🌺🌺

This is too many steps to have to do for a several hundred dollar machine lol. For that price, it should be effortlessly straightening my hair.

You don't gotta follow those steps tbh- just add your light leave-in and make small sections

Your hair feels fried because it already is fried from heat damage that vomes from not knowing how to use heat properly and probably not knowing hiw to retain moisture in your hair. Your hair is COOKED

Be gentle on her. She admitted she was new to the natural hair journey. There are tons of KZbin videos on REvAir for 4C, but this one highlights an issue many of us have come across, so in a sense, it actually turned out to be a helpful video. Those in the comments can advise how to correct the error. I myself have had my Revair for about a year now. The first few times I used it, it worked great, but I must've changed something I did within the year because the last few times I've Rev Aired it, it turned out like hers. I might not be parting my parts small enough, as I was exhausted the night I did it so my parts were a bit larger than before. A good tip I will implement from the comments is to add a leave in. and remember that my hair has to be damp. I used my microfiber head towel and washed my face and brushed my teeth, so when I went to Rev Air it, it was probably already dry enough and I needed to add more moisture to properly stretch it out.
