I have watched a lot of your videos regarding tilt shift . I hope you can answer my question. can I use a Laowa 15mm Shift lens on my Apsc Fujifilm XH1 using a dummy adapter? How about through a Speedbooster ?

I don't know Fujifilm's smaller cameras, but I don't see why one of the different 15mm shift lens versions wouldn't work just fine with an adapter. As to a 'speedbooster' - I've never used one I'm afraid, so no idea.

Interesting as I'm looking into maybe buying a tilt shift lens for my trusty canon t3 (can't justify spending the money on a full frame yet). I do wonder, though, why on the new TTArtisans 100mm 2:1 macro with tilt&shift lens they say that the tilt/shift functionalities don't work on ef mount, only on rf mount
@KeithCooper Жыл бұрын
I believe this one is designed for RF mount - RF lenses will not ever work on EF 100mm on a crop camera is ~160mm equiv. Tilt and shift will be of very limited and specific use

Hi Keith, a useful little video. I would really like you to make a video about these T&S lenses, but this time adapted to the Fujifilm GFX sensor. Thanks.

Splendid idea! ...just find someone to lend me a Fuji MF camera for a while? ;-) Oh and an adapter. I'll do a whole series of articles/videos ...there is no way I can afford to actually buy such kit at the moment.

@@KeithCooper I am too far to lend you my GFX50R ,-) Adapters: Kipon or Techart; both are good. I own a Kipon.

Thanks - I'll have to find someone in the UK wanting a review ;-)

@@KeithCooper I hope that happens.

On larger sensor (like GFX), the useful shift may be smaller than what the lens allows.

Yes - the key word here is 'may' - with any adapted lens solution it depends on the particular lens and its image circle. This particular video is of course aimed at people with smaller sensors than 36mm x 24mm
