Using Tonex with Amplitube 5 ||| ToneX (Step-by-Step Tutorial)

I am still a little bit confused on how tonenet and amplitube are connected. Does the full version of amplitube 5 give you access to every preset within tonenet?

Really informative and engaging to watch how you chain those tones together. I'm not as familiar with real guitar rigs so knowing what order things should go in in these softwares can be intimidating to say the least. You have taught me more than Amplitube/Tonex in this tutorial. Thanks.

When i try to download this it wont allow saying that it requires a tonex model that is not available on my device. I do have tonex max and amplitube 5 max though. Im new to this software, am i missing something obvious? Thanks

@@bpcborja kinda, but i would not recommend it. You would probably have to use a stomp mode and use it in bypass but it is hard to say if that will work ok. I will see what i can do :)

@@galtonestudio thanks for answer. I readed the manual and seems easy to conect but mine not appears in the settings. Even installing drivers etc... All runs very well except when I try to use this as an audio interfaz

Thanks a lot !!!!! great tutorial !!!! Question... I bought a tonex Pedal, is better a separate interface or will be the same as using Tonex pedal as interface? Tonex pedal come with Amplitube and Tonex, and I appreciate a lot both software, but I dont understand the benefits of Amplitube to Tonex pedal.? At least use Amplitube and can move to Tonex the modifications you do to amps cab stomp reverb compression and noise gate, that effects are in the pedal. thanks

I am running on a Mac with the included ToneX and Amplitube SE software and I don’t know how to get Tone Models from ToneX to Amplitube 5. niestety nie, jedyna opcja to dość zaawansowany routing + profilowanie brzmień z amplitube. Po prostu zamiast wychodzić na kolumne out, trzeba go dać do reamp boxa i sprofilować. Ale nie jest to zbyt łatwe. Efekty z amplitube nie są kompatybilne z tonexem. Jedyne połączenie ich to aplikacja amplitube + profile tonexa (jak w tym wideo). Ale nie da się tego przerzucić na hardware, nie jest kompatybilny. Chociaż szczerze, jak nie masz super zaawansowanego łańcucha efektów, to podstawowe efekty w tonexie obecnie są super + symulacje z amplitube nie mają w ogóle startu do nawet darmowych profili z toneneta.

@@galtonestudio Dzięki za odpowiedź, tak właśnie myślałem, minus taki, że żeby osiągnąć 2 kanały czyli np. tak jak dwa wzmacniaki w rigu w Amplitube i mieć stereo na 2 kolumnach to muszę mieć dwie kostki. Czy dobrze myślę? Czy te profilowanie można robić z dwóch sygnałów na raz i tworzyć dwa kanały. Wyjście z One jest przecież też stereo.

@@SaduRecords niestety 2 tonexy. sporo 'worshippowców' ich tak używa, tylko sa jakies jaja z fazą z tego co czytałem, wiec trzeba by miec dodatkowo di boxa. ogolnie jakbym mial uzywac 2 wzmakow to szukalbym raczej gdzie indziej albo korzystal z laptopa + amplitube live. to też jest calkiem stabilna opcja, mi sie osobiscie amplitube chyba nigdy nie zawiesil a uzywam ponad 10 lat.

Cześć, wiesz może o co chodzi, ze pojawia się szum w amplitube, ale tylko jak przełącze się na tonenet, szum cykliczny pojawiający się co kilka sekund. Amplitube 5 pełna wersja zarejestrowana z tonexem

Tonenet w amplitube to nie to samo co tonenet w tonexie. Tam jest masa brzmień wykorzystujących dodatkowe płatne pakiety (amplitube tonenet). Stąd pewnie szum. Brzmień musisz szukać w tonenecie tonexa. Głupie jak nie wiem, no ale tak to działa.

You cant do that. Tonex cant play amplitube presets, you need a pc for that.

It seems to obvious to me that you should be able to just drag and drop amplitube 5 presets onto the tonex pedal. I can't figure why they didn't do that

Unluckily I didnt try it. I guess app would be more limited, so I think you need a computer but I cant tell for sure.

Its the preset from that video:) If you like those tones its a part of my DT tonex pack. But that tone is free.

Try searching under 'galtone'. But it is quite weird, make sure that you are in tonenet tab, not your own library.

Ah, i get it. You need to look in Tonenet but in amplitube 5. It wont work in tonex. Just open amplitube 5 and it will be here, there is also a link in video description.
