Impossible to create "new genres" when epic doesnt value unique experiences, but BOX FIGHT, GENERIC TYCOON, PVP RED VS BLUE with fake items which oblige people to like the map.

I think people are just not that interested in other stuff and that's the flaw of creative. Whats the point of making something great if no one cares about anything other than tdm and zone wars?

Yeah, having made five games that were attempting to redefine their genres........... It's actually quite tough to do the user education, promotion, and evangelism you need to in selling a game mode that does any kind of innovation.

Epic only value 'creatives' who bring along a few thousand new players with them. They couldn't give a sh1t about promoting amazing experiences made by plebs. They want AAA studios to get involved but they ain't interested because Epic want too bigger cut of the revenue

This is why we need players from Roblox. They actually care about player made experiences. As a UEFN creator with friends who choose Roblox, they don’t know nearly as much about UEFN then you would think. Why? The Roblox Creators try to paint Fortnite as a Roblox copy. That’s why there is so little people playing the maps with effort.

I’m very interested in making a turn based rpg like final fantasy or xcom, considering my familiarity with UE5. But as a player, it feels very uncreative, especially with the clickbaity slop that fills the pages, and that really dissuades me from trying something ambitious.
