Tegoidus trust me you will never make it . I don't want you to stop know but after a year or two you will remember this comment. Wish you luck either way and if you're in it for the money then I suggest you quit now

@@psvita59 dude hes 14 that's uncalled for you can do anything in life you want as long as you honestly want to do it if his passion is game design i guarantee he will make it especially since he knows so young and is already starting might not be something he drops into immediately out of school but eventually for sure no doubt and you really shouldn't put a 14 year olds dreams down children are the future

kevin I understand. And of course he can make it. But he has to understand that there are no shortcuts in this industry. You have to spend hours everyday learning. There are many developers that have been making games for years and your not going to be as good as them anytime soon

i noticed that when you imported your model it was flawlessly located exactly where you wanted it to be.. obviously that's not the case for many of us. Is there an easy way you suggest to coordinate? I am importing different bits from a large model and i need them to line up with each other.

Excelent tutorial. A set up for an interior imported from Rhino would be great.

did you find any architectural interior or exterior that we can export to UE4 tutorial or video?

Is there any tutorials that are aimed at architecture. This tutorial was excellent in terms of getting rhino models into unreal.

did u find anything? I also want to look.

This video does address the problem of keeping Rhino block instance during the importing process, nor does it dive into how to optimize nurb/mesh in Rhino model. Good intro video though, for ppl never worked in UE4.

Moving models from Rhino to Unreal using datasmith is pretty easy. I find the problem is solving the UVs. It's a nightmare in Rhino. I have to basically rebuild in Maya and do the UVs there. Does anybody have a work-around? How do we get good UV mapping for textures and light in Rhino?

can't even import Rhino files on my Mac, no option for CAD files at all in the datasmith ? Any ideas ???

Why does 4:20 not have copy blueprint ability
@chrislewis4416 жыл бұрын
Hi, I'm actually have an issue: I don't have Datasmith on my platform and all attempts at finding it seem to be impossible. I've followed the online instructions for installing it, but it seems to be absent entirely. Any ideas?
@chrislewis4416 жыл бұрын
Also, I feel like a crazy person. I'm literally trying all of the shortcuts mentioned in the video (space bar for toggling x-ray options, right clicking for returning object positions) and get completely different options / results. I should mention I'm using v4.21, but given how recent this video is, I wouldn't expect so many discrepancies. To be fair, I am also 100% a newb.

*Love Unreal Engine, its totally crazy to have something like this for free. I just have some Issues with solidworks ( particularly with COMPLEX 3D ).. with unreal studio. Uv overlapping issues ( weird texture after building lights ).... if someone has the same problem , please like this comment, i heard a lot of poeple with this issue ! I really don't see any topic that solve this problem , with cad like solidworks imports... if you have the solution..*

21 minutes to see that we should have Unreal Studio, and, it seems that this tutorial is, too, for absolute beginners, but, it starts as if we have Unreal Studio, i have the latest version of Unreal Engine, and, how damn can i have Unreal Studio, as i am an absolute beginner????? 2& minutes of lost time...
