For each person to whom you gave money, I had a tear in my eye. It's times like this that make me realize how lucky I am and as a result I have just purchased 20 cups of coffee for you. I know you'll put it to good use. My wife and I love your videos and although its been 6 years since we were last in Bangkok, we look forward to doing it again. Thank you for what you do.

Thai are a proud race, beautiful courteous and kind. Thank you Chris. My Thai family is very lucky as my wife has a very small business in Thailand she employs that supports her family. Her aunt is sick with cancer and can no longer work but must travel to Bangkok for medical treatments, sadly she can no longer work. We also use the money I send to Thailand for family help thru these difficult times. I appreciate the work your doing Chris and very much enjoy your program “ retired working for you”.

Hey Chris, It's funny how things work. I was just on the internet and the overwhelming amount of crap that I see is astonishing. I'm from the U.S. and there is so much negativity there with all the complaining and blaming of everything going on there with Racism, Dems vs Reps, Covid etc etc, it was kind of wearing me out. I finally thought I needed to find something more positive to watch and being a subscriber of yours I went to see what you are up to. Thank you so much for the goodness you are spreading. The world needs a lot more people like you. I'm retired as well living in the Chiang Mai area and also see a lot of people struggling here. I'm not going to lie, had a little bit of the watery eyes on this one like many of your viewers. Well done, keep up the great work and a little thank you for brightening my day as well. Cheers!

Tears streaming down my face. The Thai people are on the whole very humble and it is so moving to see their gratitude. Several decades ago, researching the Thai culture before my first trip to the Kingdom, a very well written guidebook described the culture of tipping best when it said that to tip for something like a meal 10% or 15% would be graciously accepted with a smile and welcomed, but to leave a $10 tip for a $20 meal could cause offence in the Thai culture because it could be construed as giving extra because you think they need charity, that they do not have enough and that it is honourable to earn a good tip through providing a good service or product, but not that they are seen as a charity case. Difficult to explain to those not familiar with Thai culture, but just because they might have less than those in the west, or less than those visiting as a tourist, not to judge them as a result and just give money. It goes without saying of course, that paying it forward, to people genuinely in need, and in the circumstances you do, is a completely different situation. I describe the situations above as a backdrop to the culture. These are unprecedented times and I do think we have a responsibility, if we are in the position to do so, to help others not so fortunate and Chris, thank you, thank you, thank you, for being able to take action and help people, when we might not be in a position to get on the ground and do so ourselves (as I sit here in yet another lockdown 6 weeks in with at least another month left to go). Good work my friend and may it continue to grow and evolve into more and more. I look forward to see what it develops into and share your vision. Keep up the good work. At some point in the future if able I'll shake you by the hand and thank you in person for what you're doing and what you have done, but in the meantime you'll have to make do with a comment on your channel. Well done.

A big well done Chris for arranging all of this, you're so great. Remind everyone a few times a month about this - so we keep all donating. Also, can you maybe ask some of the English speaking staff at the gym if they want to do online Thai lessons and people could set up lessons. I'd love a few lessons a week from somebody at the gym and would pay of course, maybe a lot of the viewers would also sign up for that. We'll all keep donating anyway for these months I'm more than sure, good people love Thailand and we were looking for a way to support the people for a long time. Many many thanks.

What a wonderful and loving story. As a retired US Army veteran, I have seen alot of misfortune on this planet over the last 22 years of my service deployed in to more than 15 countries. The world has alot of problems and our leadership seems to not care for thier own people. It is people like you who bring hope and the donors who open thier hearts and give so much to help people I just had to subscribe and get all of my family to do so as well. We wish you the best in your endeavours. God speed Brother !

Oh man, this one got the tears going. As a tourist especially, when you get to know some Thai people you realise how many of them are working in those jobs, away from their home provinces, so they can support their families. They never ask for handouts, they want to work to earn that money, they don't expect anything to be just handed to them. But when it is they are so grateful. It's always the Thai people who have kept me going there as often as I can. So happy I found this channel, really lifts the spirit.
