What the hell is the deal with the red ribbon and why was there no pinning into the collar bone?
@ArthurNguyen8 ай бұрын
The red ribbons are our blood stripes given to us when promoted to NCO. Our higher ups, mostly our 1stSgt, didn't like hazing or any sort of physically hurtful celebrations whether traditional or not. So punching chevrons into the collar or "blood striping" anyone by kneeing and kicking their legs was a no go. But it definitely still happened after the fact lmao. Happened to me in Korea.
