I live in the south and have magnolia trees all over. The huge white blossoms smells heavily of citrus FYI. Very refreshing, bright and summery. Those citrus notes you smelled are most likely just the magnolia. I have a large tree across the street from my home. We just planted a pink blossom magnolia which will hopefully give use beautiful blossoms in the future. We also have a young orange tree and the blossoms smell amazing. Our gardenia flowers are the best smelling. They smell like an entire fragrance blend just from the single flower. You have to get you nose on those florals to see how quality of oils makes more effect than blend in most fragrances.

Lys soleia is my favorite perfume of all times but is discontinued. Where did you find it? I am looking everywhere... I want guerlain to have it back... I cannot find a good alternative... maybe bronze goddess of este Lauder but still not as good...

I also enjoy Paris-Venise and spray it on my kids at the start of the day. So comforting. Epice Marine to me smells like an indian snack due to the Cumin accord. Seville A’lube a wonderful creamy bitter orange accord. Would love to add for the Summer: Nahema EDP, Chanel Boy and Gardenia No 2 elie saab

Suggestion for you is on the cheap if you can find Issey blue which is discontinued but just wonderful. Also Guerlain Vetiver is always a nice one always IMHO. You have an amazing collection.

I really like le Frenchy , I remember an early review where you mentioned that it “just didn’t fit in the line” ... I agree 🤙 but as a verbena fan I think it one of the best ?! For what it is though it’s a lil too pricey, imo!

@@KLF2323 I personally did not mention pinneapple and I think you may be taking the comment that had out of context. We simply disagree when it comes to the scent of Lychee. I had some of the ripest I've come acrossin years and I got little to no aroma from it.

You cant smell sugar but you can taste it and feel it which means it can be recreated somewhat. In Hermes Paprika Brazil Jean Claude Ellena tried to duplicate the sensation which burns the tongue from the pimento spice, into a perfume.

Correct indeed. And I know what everyone means in the fragrance community when they refer to a “sweet fragrance”, or something sweet the detect. The perception of sweetness when a raw product is enhanced with synthetic molecules to create “sweetness”. I’m only just chiming in with the notion that the chemical and olfactory receptors don’t smell sugar.
