Congratulations Dr. Madaan! As mentioned previously, I have been following your journey since your first video and interview with Dr. Preetham. I still remember commenting how I thought despite Dr. Preetham's extremely impressive application he only got 20+ interviews, which I thought was less given the circumstances (I think my comment might have been mistaken as an insult rather than a query)...after doing some research and gaining more knowledge about the entire US residency process, I now know what a feat that was. Hey ! It is hard but what I would say is nothing is impossible. So people match even into neurosurgery which is incredibly difficult to get into. Doing an interview with someone who matched into neurosurgery

Usmle is more about your scores research and us clinical experience. Don't be hopeless. Discuss with seniors who are already there / if you can find out program directors etc
