Got a question for you slightly off topic. Though my step was ok Anatomy is still a huge weakness and none of it seems to commit to long term memory. I have a Surgery rotation coming up and while my path and phys is good my anatomy is awful. How did you study it in a way that helps you commit it to long term memory? I can never really seem to sit down and study it as the content is not intellectually stimulating like Physiology or medicine and its frustrating as unlike medicine as it makes no logical sense and seems like I am just memorizing names. I felt like after step all the anatomy I knew just vaporized immediately.
@manikmadaan4 жыл бұрын
so i did kaplan's anatomy and its really good. they derive most of it from embryology in front of you and its really conceptual with not so much memorization.

So I've done all of Kaplan, and FA CVS, respi, renal.. and it was excruciatingly painful.. but now I guess I'm good.. Kaplan was good too but I never revised back.. what do you suggest now. BNB is good to go. I'm currently finishing up with Dr Deepak MARWAH. Shall plan for step 1 within 4 months. Needed some strategic advice.

Hey Manik! Yesterday I went through a lot of videos and went on the ECFMG site and came to know my college isn't listed there. It indeed is listen in world directory of medical school but it's sponsor tab contains no information from ECFMG. I did email them about the same on the two email ids I found on their site. I'm currently a second year med student in india. I hope to give USMLE after internship. Do you think my college will get a recognition by then or did my dream is USMLE did just shatter right before my eyes. I have been constantly thinking about this since yesterday and really deeply dishearten. Please try to reply to me!

Do u think it’s reasonable for me to target for residency 2023 ( right now I’m a blank page haven’t given any steps also). I finished my internship at the end of march 2020. If I have to get into July 2023 residency then I have to apply for interviews in Sept 2022, so by then my yog gap would have been almost 2.5 years, do you think it’s a red flag? I’m going to start my preparation for the step 1, right now I feel like I’m on level 0 with my knowledge, for a person like me do u suggest I do Kaplan videos or boards and beyond ( I have not studied anything related to step 1 in the past and Whatever I have learned in mbbs I don’t really remember anything. Could u please suggest what is better for me Kaplan or BnB or should I do both ?? So that I can finish my preparation in a reasonable amount of time and also get a very high score. I’m ready to put in as much as effort possible to get a really good score It would be very very helpful if u could clarify my doubts
