You have explained so beautifully.But i have one question.when we say 5min break.. the whole break is wasted in the process of finger printing.getting yourself checked and i guess it takes more than 5min.. 5min is so less time for going out

hey nice, u made a video on exam day. thanks for that. it cleared many doubts. I have one specific question to ask - is a water bottle allowed in the test room?
@SimplyTreestump4 жыл бұрын
you said we can bring in coffee to drink and put outside of the locker. could you describe the layout of the locker room? do they have open and flat surfaces on the superior side of the locker in order to place coffee, etc? are the locker locks combination or key?
@garykaplan77284 жыл бұрын
The Prometric center I was at had number coded key that matched the locker. The lockers are in the reception area and are just big enough for personal belongings like phone, wallet, etc.

Great vid, one question. Do i have to take the whole 60minutes to take a block? In practice exams I do then faster than 60 minutes thanks
@Winston_Smyth4 жыл бұрын
Are you allowed to where a watch during the exam? (not a smartwatch obviously)
@garykaplan77284 жыл бұрын
The answer is NO! No personal belongings except glasses in the exam room. They will examine your glasses. You must pull your pocket lining out and they scan you with a metal detector. Finally, I had to lift my pant legs up to show them nothing was stuck to my legs.
@rudyluna8573 жыл бұрын
So there is no way to track your time outside the test room? :c
@Winston_Smyth3 жыл бұрын
@@rudyluna857 You are allowed to use your phone during breaks so you could check the time there

What is the new update? What are prometric questions exactly? If anyone can explain!
@garykaplan77284 жыл бұрын
Prometric is the secure and proctored exam testing site.
@garykaplan77284 жыл бұрын
You produce excellent videos and I’m not even in medical school. This video was meaningful to me since I have taken many exams at Prometric testing centers. By the way they gave me laminated scratch pads too.

Quick q - if you finish a section early does that time go into your break? For example, if I finish block 1 in 45 min instead of 60 and then go into block 2, have I now gained 15 more min of break time?
@deathkissgoodbye4 жыл бұрын
Yeah, you would have gained that time as you would not have used the last 15 mins of that block from the 8 hour timer and would get 1 hour to start the next block.
