Hello!! Thank you for this content. Saved me today… I’m 2.5 months away from USMLE. Uw score are fluctuating 40-60… more towards 60 I would say. I am confused whether to do uw taking enough time reviewing blocks or to go with the FA. Thanks for your tips. I would definitely do that…I’m hunting for time with may toddler. 🙏!!❤thanks

Thanks for the helpful tips! How much time did you spend reviewing each system/subject? How many questions did you do a day to go through UWorld twice in 6 weeks and did you use other Q banks?

I heard people studying in india won’t be able to give usmle becus of accredition changes coming in 2024 😔😔😔I am 1st yr student and I don’t know what to do I need to get a certificate called ecfmg I really dk what to do , u all are really lucky to pursue ur dream
@Its_semio
@Its_semio 2 жыл бұрын
Apparently, you can already apply for certification (which doesn't require you to take any step exam - it's just the application form that you are filling up). If you do this before the 2024 deadline, you should be fine. (google: "2021 Information Booklet - ECFMG" and go to page 5).

No problem! www.ecfmg.org/2021ib/2021ib.pdf . I'm not entirely sure if you are able do to this already in your 1st year, but at least you can try it out, good luck! :)

I found this on FB: "if a student or graduate from a currently acceptable school applies for ECMFG certification before 2024, they will be able to take the USMLE exams and obtain ECFMG certification under our current policies, even if that extends into 2024, or later. Applying for ECMFG certification is the first step in the certification process, before applying for and taking the USMLE exams. Once you are enrolled in a school that meets our current requirements, you can apply for ECFMG certification before 2024,. this means submitting the online application for certification and the certification of identity form (form 186). You cannot take the usmle exams, however, until you have completed 2 years of medical school. Once you have completed 2 years of medical school, you may begin taking the exam whenever you are ready, even if that is after 2024. there is no limit after you apply for ECMFG certification to begin taking the usmle exams"
