Can you share a little on how to study - like the basics? did you learn how to study to master the concept and question - in high school? undergrad ? What about study groups? You're right there is so many study materials out there, but if you don't know how to study and memorize - how do you know which resource(s) are best before test time or dedicated study time.

I think I made a mistake in the video, I watched a lot of the Mehlman Medical review videos where he did practice questions (his channel is filled with short 5ish minute videos where he breaks down questions, and he has playlists by subject. For the High Yield images videos, it’s actually Dirty Medicine (another great KZbin channel) I watched. Here’s a link to that playlist kzbin.info/aero/PL5rTEahBdxV54cZpVjhJKqOL6huEMW4hY

To do this i would usually go through my NBME self assessment analysis. It’ll say whether you’re doing poorer than most students in a certain area, the same as them, or better. So pay more attention in what you’re underperforming in. I hope this helps💕

The real exam is pass/fail, but the practice exams still give scores (UWorld gives a three numbered score, the NBME’s give an estimated % correct, and there are calculators online to convert to an estimated 3 digit score)

Hi! I usually study alone lol but if you’re in school currently, asking your classmates is a good place to start. If not, you’d have to seek elsewhere for other people taking the same tests. I’m not 100% sure what the options are

If you’re not at a school that has time constraints for when to take it, it honestly depends on how you’re doing on NBME’s in your opinion. If you’re not currently passing, i’d give myself at least 1-1.5 months to work towards a passing score. But the registration process can take a while in itself. I registered before i even started dedicated studying and worked towards my test date.
