I’m unvaccinated and just learned today that I have COVID. I remained healthy throughout the worst of times. A few days ago I was with a 4yo boy who appeared to have a cold but otherwise fine. He kept wiping his nose with his hands and wouldn’t use a tissue or wash his hands. I believe I caught it from him. It feels like a flu, with sore throat and swollen glands and runny nose. Headache and achy all over my body. No fever. I don’t have hay fever. Prayers will be welcomed!

@Sel Gut You've got that right! I'm on my 3rd PCP, and she's been of no help either. She didn't even return my calls when I was very sick with covid in Jan and Feb of this year. I was extremely weak and in bad shape (so weak I had fallen and needed help walking). I called daily and sent messages telling her about it. I didn't get a return call from her office until weeks later, and that was only to confirm an existing appointment I had previously made. I literally went off on them on the phone. Then she did a telehealth appt with me, and she did absolutely nothing. Didn't even Rx a steroid. Nor did she give any advice. These worthless doctors should be completely stripped of their medical license and put in jail for the same crimes Fawchee has done. A friend I know currently has covid and the doctor Rx'd the new poison drug. It made her worse, developed new terrible symptoms, and she stopped it after her 2nd dose. Then her doctor gave her a lecture on how she was 2 months behind on her annual check up. It's all about the money! Greed, greed, and more Fing greed!

I’ve tested negative, but my doctor insisted that it’s covid- now I understand. I’m on day 6, on prednisone- but my symptoms came back with a force: sore throat, hacking cough, headache, congestion- misery in general. I’m a 60 old very healthy woman with no other health issues and on no RX drugs. This one is kicking my butt - like a bad winter cold/sinus infection. I’ve never been vaxed- never will. Had original covid in September 2020 - just a month long flu - no breathing problems.

My husband tested positive at-home 7 days ago (light line), and tested positive again yesterday. We live in a small home. We are unable to separate by room. I have had COVID symptoms too. But I have tested negative twice at-home and once at the doctor's office (PCR) yesterday. We started with allergy-like symptoms. He had no fever at all - mine has been right below 100. The headache has been the worst...with eye pain. I have experienced some dizziness. So, my husband was given a script for COVID anti-viral. I am basically riding it out. We had COVID two years ago and it was nothing like this (with much worse symptoms). We were down for 6 weeks. We have been vaccinated twice with one booster, and we are in our mid 60s. I am tired (this time) of feeling sick and still showing negative. It is so strange! My doctor gave me antibiotics even though she knows it will not kill the COVID virus. This video speaks to me...thank you!

This is great news. There are no doctors in my area that are like Dr. Berkowitz. I’m pretty much a unicorn. Unvaxxed, uninfected, immunocompromised due to autoimmune disease meds...I’m a dental hygienist...been working on patients throughout the whole pandemic. I do wear an N95 mask at work. I test once a week for the last year. All negative. I’ve gone to restaurants and the grocery store without a mask, even the DMV. I’m sure my luck will run out at some point. I would like to have access to a doctor like this when it’s my time. Being in California, is it possible to contact Dr. Berkowitz for care when I need it?

Best video of all! Very informative. I was sick with Cov from New Year's day till the first of March of this year. Lingering symptoms went on longer than that. Sinuses was my biggest problem, as if the virus really attacked them. I had every classic symptom of this variant; started with bad sore throat with white spots on tonsils (they treated for strep, but it was not strep), the worst constant headache of my life (as if someone had my head in a vice grip) that lasted every day for months, body aches, muscle weakness so bad that my son's had to help me walk at times, worsening dizziness, eye pain and light sensitivity, low grade fever for 2 straight months, a lot of nasal symptoms, slight cough off/on, and extreme fatigue (I still have it). The list was long, every classic symptom (incl the rare reported symptoms), yet my 2 rapid tests and PCR came back negative. I tested late in my sickness due to the rapid tests always being sold out and PCR testing appointments were booked way out. I didn't get my PCR test until day 18ish, and it took nearly 2 weeks to get results. Negative. I was treated for covid by a telehealth doc, because my PCP did not return my calls or messages when I told her I was very sick and weak (falling, etc). I finally got ahold of her 2 weeks into it. She offered absolutely nothing. No steroids. Nothing. Now, the cov doctor Rx'd Ivm, but I started it late in the game....on day 16ish. I wish everyone could have a doctor like this one, because if we did, no one would have to suffer. Most doctors should be reminded of their Hippocratic Oath they took, have their license to practice stripped from them, and should be standing before a trial for crimes against humanity! They are putting their income/profit before their patients health and well being. It's disgusting and it's a crime.

I am unvaccinated and 1 month ago was infected. It took ~24 hours to test positive. First symptom was a scratchy throat. Awoke the next morning with more phlegm in my throat. Tested negative. By the evening, I was feeling a bit feverish and finally tested positive. I had 2 days of low grade fever, did not exceed 100.4. I continued to test positive for 14 days and then stopped testing as my doctor’s nurse said it is possible to test positive for 3 months post-infection. Some body aches came with the fever and I slept more on the day after testing positive. I had upper chest congestion. That moved into my sinus which is the opposite direction for other illnesses. Cough was minor and I never woke from sleep to cough. Loose bowels/minor diarrhea set it 3-4 days after testing positive. I took probiotics for it. When it moved to the sinus, I experienced some occasional dizziness sensations. The longer lasting symptoms were those weird occasional dizziness and the cough. I can still cough (very infrequent now) to expel mucus. I have returned to my regular exercise routine (alternating aerobic and weight-lifting days). I’ve taken vitamin supplements since I was a teenager. (C, E, multi-vitamin, D3, plus Quercetin+zinc after symptoms appeared.) I also took HCQ but it isn’t clear that helped. I had Azithromycin available but recently had had so many antibiotics due to post-surgery (total knee replacement) infection (5 days hospitalization and IV antibiotics) that resulted in an auto-immune response after 5.5 weeks of Rocephin (another 5 days in hospital with more antibiotics like Vancomyocin) that I simply did not want to take any more antibiotics. Overall, I would say it was like a mild flu. I am 62. (BTW: I have a year-round post-nasal drip which I take daily antihistamines. This is probably elongating the infrequent cough.). I didn’t do nasal irrigation but did gargle with mouthwash.

What type of zinc were you taking, Deanie? There are so many of them 😯 I've done loads of research on zinc recently, and learned that chelated zinc, also known as zinc bisglycinate (sometimes called zinc glycinate, but it's the same thing), is the most bioavailable form of zinc that causes the least amount of stomach issues. I had unknowingly been taking this type of zinc for 2 years with no issues, then recently I bought a different brand of zinc supplement and a very low dose was giving me stomach discomfort. Turned out I bought the least bioavailable type of zinc. Might be a good idea for you to experiment with different types of zinc, and see if any of them agrees with your digestive system better. All the best!

I have had problems with Zinc too except for a Zinc that says Zinc Copper from the brand Solaray and I have it in the morning with my breakfast and I haven't had any problems with it at all. It also has kelp and pumpkin seeds and it says Amino Acid Chelate and only 2% of Copper. I normally have it while I am sick since other people say it's not good to have it continually. I seem to be getting the virus whenever a new variant comes through the area, though I now got through the last one that has come through lately and I was only sick really for a week and a half so very short and no after affects at all so I am grateful and I guess my immune system is finally understanding how to deal with it quickly, yeah! We shall see how the future goes and how many more comes along. I have Hashimotos and Raynauds Disease so it always seems to hit my circulatory system making me cold. Thank you for sharing you're experience and I hope for the best for you all!

It is important to take enough zinc. Quite a more than in multi vits. I will look into the Solaray. Thanks for that suggestion. I like that it includes copper to keep it from drpleaying on higher zinc level Flccc net tells safe and sufficient amounts as well as long covid treatments. A LOT of people are looking more frustrated and confused lately. I think it is Covid Dimentia. I see changes in people in their 30's even and they won't suspect covid since it is a gradual change. See KZbin and include ' covid Dimentia / brain natural remedy' for more treatments Other real important to know is you need something to go WITH the zinc so it goes inside the cells. Choices I know of are quercetin and ecgc ( in green tea) . And sufficient vit D level. It is so easy to stay as protected as reasonable. Flccc also discussed nose and mouth ideas if you have been in a crowd. You can do all these through food if you really know what you are doing. Easier to take the supplements for me. Check out drtaubraun my com while you are looking stuff up and find his interviews online also for more background. Stay safe and happy.

This characteristic of testing positive for so long may make this more contagious: symptoms may last only a couple days, but the viral load of the infected still produced is high during a period in which they essentially feel recovered and fine. When I got this I was surprised by this as well. I only felt symptoms for two days (plus a prodrome day), and by the 4th day felt essentially normal except for the barest hint of nasal linings rapidly, but slightly, congesting and decongesting on their own, close to 2 times per minute, feeling almost as if the sinus linings were "breathing" on their own. Almost exhilarating, and not at all uncomfortable. You feel well. Except. You are testing more positive without symptoms than with them. I was ready to go to the gym, go back to work, ... I felt strong, I felt fine. Except, I was testing strongly positive. I have no doubt others "got over" the symptoms and then went forth into public spaces without testing first, thereby spreading the disease more widely. Public gyms I think would be a particular hazard since people who work out quickly build up regret if they are laid down a couple days by symptoms. And people equate feeling fine with being over it, and predictably would immediately go back to the gym once they felt well enough to do so.

On going fatigue for about 2 weeks cold symptoms, bad cough. I have sarcoidosis and asthma I took lots of Ivermectin, acetaminophen, IV Vit C 50 g with glutathione and ibuprofen (alternating). I found that NAC helped my lung function improve alot during this time. I also sprayed 2-3/day with Povidone Iodine nasal spray. I tested negative for Covid, but I believe it was either Ba.5 variant or the flu. I no longer do patient care and it's difficult to find work without a jab which is non negotiable for me. Sore throat is the dominant symptom with BA.5. It feels like strep throat. We see it everywhere in the Netherlands. There are 2 versions: in one symptoms start with the sore throat, in the other the throat pain starts 7-10 days AFTER first symptoms, as if it were a separate infection. But these persons still test positive, so it is still the BA.5 infection. My sister belonged to the second group. I belong to the first group (direct onset of sore throat). All in all BA.5 symptoms & positive tests last for 10-14 days, whereas BA.2 lasts for 4-7 days.

@@fivenine2 As I am prone to strep throat, I have discovered over the years that for me the best cure is putting on a shawl during the night, to keep the throat warm. I also clean my nose with tepid salty water twice a day during the illness. It relieves the headache. The doctor in the video suggests to use a nasal spray to open up the sinuses, and afterwards go for salty water. That could be a good idea. I never use Tylenol (paracetamol in Europe) to suppress the fever. Going out, walk around, get fresh air, always helps. In the Netherlands the last Covid-19 measure was dropped in March (masks on public transport). Nobody wears a mask anywhere, inside or outside, including hospitals, except for some tourists. Generally people here are pro-vaxx and anti-mask. 90% never believed that masks would help to curtail the pandemic (me included). In Germany this is very different. They have a fearmongering government. Interestingly their hospitalization rate per mln is twice as high, their ICU rate per mln four times as high, and their death toll per mln also four times as high. Go figure.

My wife got it about 11 days ago. She had a headache and sore throat for about 12 hours, then was tired for a few days. Overall, very mild. She was vaccinated and boosted. 1 day later, my youngest got it. He had a low grade fever for about 12 hours, then an on and off queasy stomach for about a week (no vomiting, diarrhea, etc.) It was very minor. He was NOT vaccinated. My oldest boy tested positive last night (10 days after my wife first got it.) He started off with a 103 degree fever, but after about 12 hours the fever started fading. He has a very, very slight cough... but is already feeling much better. He was vaccinated. I have not got it yet, and have been exposed to it a lot. I'm just kind of waiting to get it. Hopefully if I do, I follow their pattern of very minor symptoms.

I had it like that in May. Most things were gone in a week but I had a little postnasal drip Dash related cough for another week, which I think was related to an intense amount of tree pollen we had then. So everything the doctors are saying makes total sense. I have to say one disaster was that I took NyQuil to try to sleep one night and it dried out my mouth so much that I tried not to breathe and I woke up oxygen deprived. It was just because I couldn’t make my mouth any dryer because it hurt. Regular decongestants and anti-histamines worked so much better and more gently

I was also taught that we give ABX if they've been symptomatic for longer than 10 days to get rid of the inflammation/ pressure to allow drainage. I was taught that the inflammation blocks off sinuses and bronchi which prevents proper flow of draining fluid which then in turn allows secondary bacterial infection 💯

Thank you for this video! As someone living in England I envy the USA healthcare system. Here, all healthcare is centralised through a National Health Service (NHS). Everybody has access to treatment, but waiting times are long and we don’t have our own, personal doctors. There is no early Covid treatment here unless you are deemed ‘clinically extremely vulnerable’, in which case you have access to antivirals or monoclonal antibodies. The majority of people get zero treatment unless they become severely ill and need hospital treatment.

Our healthcare system is a disgrace here in the states. Believe me, myself, and everyone I know have never been treated for this when we had it. You have to wait several weeks to months to get any tests, procedures, etc. No one, and I mean no one, trusts their doctors anymore. Including me. It's as if they're not caring for patients on purpose. Something very sinister is going on...

I so appreciate this particular video. During this uncertain time with BA.5, this type of video, where an actual doctor, who are treating Covid patients, talks about what's truly going on with various types of patients, is what we want. I am unvaccinated and have not been infected before (I'm also 59 and tend to be fragile with not so strong immune system), so I've been holding a lot of uncertainty and fear, especially when I hear CDC, the government and major news talk about the danger of those who are unvaccinated. Please do more video like this (asking real doctors about his/her experiences with how unvaccinated, vaccinated, previously infected or not, etc. are doing)! I hear a big surge is coming up this summer, which will come and go in less than a few months, with a big spike in hospitalization. So I'm curious what will happen. I also saw a data on UK government site, where 90% or so of hospitalized between April 1 and May30 of this year is vaccinated and of that, 94% is triple vaccinated. Although this data is not talked about much, it is up on the official site of UK, so I would like more information on that too. It would be great to invite an UK doctor to discuss this?
