I'm sure they're quite happy with their semifinal or final prize money, especially in the player's box. See, the difference between the old times and now is that players don't play to win tournaments. They already win a lot even if they don't win anything, so what's the point in pushing yourself to the limit? They just enjoy their rich lifestyle and don't give a f* about actually beating Djokovic or anybody else. Djokovic at the moment is not even playing his best tennis, but in the past he had to compete against real competitors who wanted to win tournaments as much as he did. I hate tennis nowadays. There's nothing to watch. I watched the women's final and it was like watching two amateurs. A three set match between two amateurs, no one doing something more so that the other has to keep up, it was just Sabalenka making a couple of winners in the first set and 100 silly mistakes in the end. And Coco.. amazing, we love her, nice girl, whatever you want... but she almost lost against Wozniacki... who's had her second child not even a year ago, who has a chronic illness, who is 33... but she comes from an era where tennis was competitive and not just drama between rich amateurs with their Gucci and Barilla sponsorship... Things are going to change for sure, and I really hope new talents who mostly care about tennis will come along

Exactly. Nothing wrong with pumping yourself up at times, but wait to celebrate so big when you at least win a set or when the score is closer. Carlos is more mature this way. He does it when he is ahead. Shelton does it when he is far behind. Federer and Nadal at least looked focused on the next point, not indulging in winning one point when they haven’t won that many games. Tennis is killer that way. You cannot celebrate too early and there many boring rallies you need to win first. Djokovic probably had much more experience and was likely thinking that Shelton was not paying attention to the score 😅 the point is to win, not showboat. How disrespectful arrogant Sheldon has been at the end at the net.. no acknowledgement of the person who just taught him a lesson in tennis... so arrogant spoiled brat. Do he think he could ever in his life even come close to the achievements of Djokovic... but at the end of the day he is from a country with a certain culture who sees themselves as better and stronger than all other nations on earth and they have the ticket to decide who is worthy or not in the world who live or who die. Hope I see in my live justice being served in the world one day.

Not only you.....Many around the world are waiting for that Karmic justice to come.... And if history has taught us anything.... it is that it'll SURELY COME, just don't know when! The signs are already starting to show though.... When an Empire starts operating in a way where they think they're Unbeatable.... that's the moment the Downfall begins! Hold on mate, whenever it finally COMES....it's gonna be GLORIOUS!🙃

djoko is the last of its kind. after the big 3 era, none will surpass him i think, especially that he keep plays at this level despite his age. its a bit too soon to tell, but I doubt there ever will be a better player than one of the big 3. they are too soft nowadays...

Maybe Alcaraz but let’s see
@milvao3400 Жыл бұрын
@@karanabhi761 Alcaraz is a better version of Nadal, but that's only his game. His mentality is not Nadal's. I don't think there will ever be a player with such motivation to win and play that long and stay competitive and improve his/her game like all the legend of the past have done. Back in the day, Federer, Nadal and Serena didn't play for money or to be superstars. They played because GS wins were a big deal, because they loved the game and they loved to win matches against amazing opponents, being out there 5 hours in Rome or wherever just to try and win a match. Now things have changed. On the women's side it's even worse. I don't remember a match that I want to go back and watch again. I don't remember a match period. I don't even remember who won slams or was in the final.
@karanabhi761 Жыл бұрын
@@milvao3400 I understand what u are saying, but Alcaraz is a generational talent, and he has that hunger and that mentality, Novak himself said that he hasn’t played a player like him EVER, for the GOAT to say that about a 20 years old kid is something amazing. He also stated that Alcaraz never gives up, so he has that mentality of never giving up, Im not saying that he’ll surpass Novak, I’m just saying that he is different and has that great aura that you feel when you see Novak or Rafa or Fed.

I thought extended highlights will show us more about point constructions. But apparently it's not. Just a clip of nice shots from a player that's getting dominated by the winner of the match.

Djokovic has plenty of chances to hit flat power shots DTL when Shelton comes to net but he goes for lobs instead and loses the points. Just an observation.

@javkburton6699 I don't think you watch Djokovic's match, he usually toys with his opponent when he is in his zone, make them run all over the court, simultaneously making the enemy lose all his energy and the fatigue takes over. It was well observed that Djokovic first take opponents legs then their soul.😊
