Thank to US open for uploading some of the matches. For us in Europe it is not easy to watch them live. Appreciation!

This US Open has given us so many heavy weight clashes early on; none better than this so far ✊👏

The whole stadium was rooting for osaka. It got Muchova on fire.

I guess it would be hoping too much for an Osaka-Swiatek final. TBH this was the tournament I thought Naomi would make a big dent and progress to the second week at least. Her comeback will have to wait and frankly I dk if she will ever recover the form she was in pre-pregnancy. She was open abt her mental issues, but now it's more abt physical. At least she's funny and open in her post match press conferences instead of on the verge of crying like she was a few years ago

zero chance for something after having a baby. tennis is too physical.

@@marianagaoka9687Yeah, but even Serena's fitness wasn't the same after she gave birth. She managed to win only one more grand slam title

Looking at this match, I will say that both players were lackluster in interest and emotions. However, Muchova prevailed.

I am wondering how come some people do overrate Osaka. Her current ranking is 88.

The beautiful and talented wonder managed to save the 2nd set at 4-5 0-40! Truly amazing! Similar to the way she saved the match 2-5 30-40 in the 3rd set at FO 2023. You are the best, Kája. Can't wait for AO 2025 to begin to see you flexing your magic wand again. 😂 Enjoy your well deserved rest. I have watched your 5 winning USO 2024 matches countless ROUNDS. Nothing else to watch and miss you since your last appearance on 19 Oct 2024 at ningbo open where you retired with an injury. Rest well to be back in top form next year. Please don't wear shorts ever again. You look beautiful in a short skirt because you have beautifully toned legs. You looked great in those 2 short skirts during FO 2023 and USO 2023.

Osaka looks and plays like a Zombie. No emotions. No ambition. Not fit. A ton load of simple unforced errors including the match point. Looking at the video Muchova did not even start sweating. Just image they had Evans vs. Khachnov on this court instead. But they played on court 7 with only 500 spectators getting access.

When you are nuts, its tough to do adhere to a winning formula. Osaka is finished.

If you can't read her emotions through this match, you need to be reborn and then raised properly to the level of a functional person at least.
@lukewalker10513 ай бұрын
@@botosh Her mental illness is well chronicled. But if denial gets you through the day. Is she a tremendous talent? Yes of course, they all are as this level. But that isn't enough. Its mental tenacity and emotional equilibrium that gets players to the top and keeps them there. Osaka stepped away from the game due to her snowflake, woke entitlement mindset aka her mental fragility and upon her return, she has not been the same, nor will see be.
