So Williams made 20 aces and probably another 10 or so unreturnable serves. This is the equivalent to winning about 7 or 8 games. This is how Williams won because Halep basically outplayed her otherwise and was the better player here. And this is the theme for all Williams matches. To me, this is the reason that Williams will never be the GOAT in my mind because this stat would not really be possible in wooden racquet era, nor even with the racquet technology of 80's/ early 90's.
