@sueprice3315Ай бұрын
well if you didn't order anything, then it's clearly a scam. The problem is, the scammers send these messages to SO MANY people, a good number of them HAVE ordered something. And some % of them will be gullible enough to fall for it. It's those people that these warnings are trying to reach. Same thing with, I get emails from a credit union that I don't even belong to, that there is a problem with my account, click here to resolve. Of course I know it's a scam. But that's their game, send out enough of these and they will get received by people that DO have an account with that credit union. The solution just always has to be, NEVER click on a link in an email/text sent to you.
@brainstem2023Ай бұрын
The bottom line folks is this; don't click on any links unless you're ABSOLUTELY certain about them. Even so, it's better if you open your browser and type in the URL of the supposed texter and log into your account there. Don't trust any links sent to you in email or text unless you know the sender personally. What am I saying? You can't even trust it then. Just don't click links.
