This has always been one of my favorite westerns. The all-star cast just made it that much better as each one played their roles to perfection.

The movie western is one of the best propaganda forms ever distributed around the world. The fact that it was mostly unintentional only made its effect stronger. When, how, and why westerns were written and made varies as widely as their makers. Silverado was made in times long after the 'old west' and also long after most famous golden age western movies. Yet it achieved a latter day western classic status due to good writing, good casting, and good applied fundamentals of motion picture artistry.
@lennychorn1475 ай бұрын
I have to disagree about the writing. I find the dialog to be quite campy at times. The story line was very original in my opinion, and the actors did the best they could given the script. Don't get me wrong, I do love the movie.

Quite honestly, as an Englishman who's been in the US for 30 yrs, Once Upon A Time In The West is the best western to ever come out of Hollywood. Also Bronson was also one of the most underrated actors ever. Nice to know that he and Jill are together forever in eternal peace and happiness.

Fourth point it was head of gambling, not security chief.
