At 6:18, is that Kaho'olawe Island? The smallest of the Hawaiian Islands. It was blown to hell as a practice target during WW2, Korea and Vietnam.

@ 8:04 the man standing by the ladder and looking up has the job of keeping count of everyone outside. This is to (try) to prevent them leaving someone up there while the submarine dives. Often he also holds a rope attached to the hatch while the last man (often the OOD or the CO) dogs the hatch to make sure that it doesn't spring open from the air inside of the submarine trying to get out! (Also forcing the hatch to seal to prevent water from getting in!!!)

They should beam all of the tribbles into the engineering spaces on the Japanese ships. What a laugh that would be!

@@scottwegner4232 It wouldn't have the same effect. The tribbles would just coo purr, and multiply until the sub ran out of food or burst to pieces from the pressure overload

at the 13:00 minute mark he says, (moons coming up over the mountains). Hmm mining saigon river which is in the delta, east of said mountains, the actual skipper couldn't have said that as the moon would come up out of the south china sea. hmmm. I might be wrong about which delta though.
