@@gabriellanza1166 under the previous socialist system everyone was provided with a job , cheap state provided accommodation ,free medical and dental care and so on elements of a stable life were provided for free by the socialist system ....and then in 1989 a new system (full of hollow promises ) called ''democracy'' arrived and ever since homeless people are dying in winter (from the frost bites ..),cost of living went sky high, one must pay these days for the medical and dental care and the negative aspects of this FALSE democracy can be listed on and on ...and NO doubt the vast majority of Poles now know that they were cheated .... to sum up one may say,that if Poland before was oppressed as you foolishly imply ( however under the previous socialist system the standard of living was much higher than today ) for 44 years ,so ever since 1989 Poland has been subjected on to a brutal physical and psychological abuse by the system which got nothing to do with democracy ,as it is nothing but HYPOCRISY ,,for vastly different system existed in the ancient Greece ....If in any doubt ask not only Poles, but the people living in the former German Democratic Republic who would tell you their frank opinions about imposed on them deceptive rubbish called '''democracy''....
