When it started in Petersburg, Virginia it was the United States Slow-pitch Softball Association. Since Don II has taken over it's been anything but slo-pitch softball. The only USSSA slow-pitch softball you can find in Florida is the World Series. When it was in Petersburg it was in the heart of softball country.

The short stop don I think, doesn't have the arm to play there. Better match playing second and on long balls covering short to 2nd base.

Paul Cipra people always gotta run their mouths, yes making contact with a slow pitch softball isn’t as hard as a baseball or fast pitch, but that doesn’t mean just anyone can hit it 400ft. I played baseball for 14 years, and I can’t hit a slow pitch ball that far. Also they act like the whole game is easy, I’d argue that fielding in slow pitch is the hardest of the three, having a ball not lose any speed off of the bat compared to baseball and you move the bases up 20ft(used to be 30ft). Yeah it’s easy to talk smack on the internet for these people.

@@squidysnaxx4633 I would like to see them stand on the pitchers mound when someone like Kyle Pehrson shoots middle lol. I played a lot of baseball. I was very good. But competitive softball is no joke. Those balls come off the bat so fast. Plus there are limits to homeruns. So you are forced to hit basehits. Its strategy when to use them and skill to place the ball. People just wanna sound tough and act tough on the internet.
