Pandit Bhimsen Joshi is reported to have said that "he is ready to go because after listening to Ustad Rashid Khan our Classical music is in good hands" !! I remembered this after hearing this soul-stirring rendition. May Kanhaiya give him a happy and healthy life.

Beautiful rendition of this traditional and popular raag by Ustadji. Undoubtedly he is one of the best vocalist produced by Sangeet Research Academy (SRA) of Kolkatta. He has sung this Bihag khyal bandish in very very slow (vilambit) ektal of 12 beats. His command on the raag is phenominal which makes him the great vocalist of today. God bless him.
