Usyk’s cardio is a nightmare, I think Fury will have periods of success in the rematch, but I still haven’t seen any heavyweights with a lot of answers to Usyk’s pace the last third of the fights

He could do what he did from round 4 to round 6 right at the start but it could make him tire even quicker. He's gonna have to dig the deepest he's ever dug trying to be sharp and fight at super high pace for the whole fight. Easier said than done when you're out of breath, concussed, your arms hurt, your lungs burn, your heartbeat is at 1000 miles per hour, your legs feel like there's a stone attached to them and you have your opponent on your face pushing you to the limit. This fight will show how badly Fury wants this victory, it's gonna be like a torture but humans resistance and desire can make you fight through pain and suffering. The problem is that Usyk wants it just as badly as Fury does.

It’s not just cardio but also economy. He’s carrying a lot less weight, takes a lot of power off a lot of his shots and intelligently chooses when to hit with power. If a heavyweight fails to either knock him out or bully him it’s game over. It also makes me wonder if other fighters from lower weight categories might also step up and clean up At heavy weight.

A better performance from Fury will beat Usyk. If Fury can fix all the atrocious school boy errors he made in the first bout mentally, offensive and defensively with better conditioning and accuracy, he will beat Usyk convincingly in the rematch. The Fury I know can do that, but I don't know if he will because he is his own worst enemy due to complacency. A closer look at the last fight punch stats shows Fury was really in domination of Usyk with more punches thrown and punches landed after round 7; Fury with 107/317 compared to the invincible Usyk's 83/205. Overall Usyk landed just 13 punches more than the supposedly overhyped Fury courtesy of the round 9 onslaught where he landed 24 being his highest in any of the rounds and couldn't get closer to that thereafter with his invincible gas tank.

Let's not forget this: Usyk was never chinned in 350 amateur, 6 semiprofessional and 22 professional fights. And he fought the likes of Beterbiev ( 3 times), Gassiev, Joe Joyce, AJ , Dubois, who can all punch way harder than Fury. Fury was floored 8 times, including by a cabdriver, a cruiserweight and a novice. Simply put, that means that Fury can not floor Usyk, let alone stop him. Usyk can at least floor him again, and possibly even stop him.Needless to say, Fury can not outbox Usyk. Nobody else can, since his technique is perfect, his output is insane and his cardio is not of this world.

Still doesn't change the fact that Usyk isn't invincible. He's beatable. I just hope Fury fix all the atrocious school boy errors he made in the first fight because he's his own worst enemy. Usyk with all his speed threw less punches than the supposed sluggish Fury and was able to land more of his punches in round 9, following Fury being caught on the nose in round 8. Usyk with all his invincible gas tank still couldn't get another KD throughout the remaining entire 3 rounds left.

Hello again, Joey. I have watched several of these fight breakdowns/predictions & there is ONE glaringly obvious detail that you & all the other professional pundits have either missed or just failed to mention & this is it:- One of Fury's biggest & most used tactics in the boxing ring is clinching & leaning-on. This serves TWO purposes; 1. It tires out Fury's opponent & saps his strength, it empties his gas tank. 2. It gives Fury a much needed rest. The trouble is that Usyk has worked out how to stop Fury from clinching & this was & will be absolutely crucial. I do not believe that Fury has any chance whatsoever of beating Usyk UNLESS Usyk sustains a cut or some sort of injury, or if he has a cardiac arrest within the 12 rounds. If none of this happens then Fury is doomed. Best regards

Fury came in the best possible shape for the first fight I don't think he can get anymore prepared physically. For fury to win (which isn't impossible) is roughing usyk up, leaning with weight when the chance presents itself.i don't see him doing it without getting himself in trouble so I'm leaning towards usyk. I just think usyk has an answer for everything until fury slows down.

I love Usyk - and I want him to win again. But I think we see the BEST Usyk when he’s put under pressure- hurt etc- and he knows he must do something heroic to get the fight back. Look at how Fury bossed those 4 rounds he won. He may have only won 4 but he was winning big in those 4 rounds. Until Usyk realised- he had to bring the hero persona out- and he not only won but won it by 8-4. Amazing accomplishment.

When he got tired and slowed down he met the canvas, I need Fury to start high output, sharp and countering. I believe the fight will not go to the 9th I think Fury will find the KO before he gets a bit winded. Love the content Joey Knight! I can't wait for this fight, modern greatness

Just some basic things will help Fury ... A) Don't clown as much (Some of the rounds were so tight that if Fury landed a couple. more punches he MIGHT have won said round). B) hold his hands up more. C) (most importantly) ... DON'T lean back. Usy's feet are so fast that he can get back into punching distance like no other. Lesser ... if he lands/hurts Usyk, go again and again.

He went off to the US for the wilder trilogy and even said US fans were better than ones in the Uk. This is because English fans actually call out fury for his actions. Like not rematching Klitschko, failing a drug test and slipping into retirement to avoid media backlash, then conning boxing fans by milking the saga with wilder, and doing a third fight with Chisora for no reason other than easy money. I back Usyk cos I prefer his boxing style, his professionalism and his credentials as a boxer. Fury is a great boxer but he’s conned a lot of people into thinking he’s the greatest of all time.

I appreciate you perspective on this, SPECIFICALLY because you're a Fury Fan boy. You are making points that Usyk fans arent considering. That said, the cards shouldnt have been as close as they were. Usyk won 8 and hand a 10-8rnd. It was a great fight, very competitive fight, not really 7-5 or draw close. There never should have been a split decision in the AJ2 or Fury fight. Also, I hope the Ref keeps the rope holding and hitting and constantly extended hand to a minimum with fury. Doc him points if necessary. Fight within the rules. Respect to both. Remember, Tyson wasnt the only who had 12 rounds to learn his opponent, Usyk also had 12 rnds to learn Tyson. I have no pick for this, as I still see this as a 50/50. Good luck to both. Thanks for the video. EDIT HERE 26:03 Maybe the Dubois shot was low and he caught Usyk under the belt line and pulled up on his strap..... Just a thought.

What really stood out to me that Usyk did besides the KD was how easy Usyk closed the gap in the early rounds to hit Fury's body and got out unscathed. It must be a psychological blow to the bigger man that one of his advantages, the reach, was easily stolen by the quicker and smaller man. I think that's one of the key aspects the Fury team will try to set traps on, because those punches were very reliable for Usyk, physically and mentally. If they can steal that advantage back by punishing Usyk coming in, that's a huge resurgence for them.

20:00 When Joey is talking about "the things Tyson Fury knows now", that is predicated on the false assumption that Fury has realized that he lost. Fury doesn't think that he lost, or that he needs to do anything differently. He's made no corner changes, there's no weight change. No talk of new strategy, because that would mean admitting the old one didn't work. The rematch will be more of the same.

I would also say that after 350 amature fights , winning 335 of those , plus cruiserweight , plus heavy weight , hiw many times has Usyk been hurt badly by a body shot . Also , how many of Furys' shots and jabs were on Usyks gloves. With all that said, i like this channel 👍

I think people overrate the success fury had against usyk in the middle rounds and this is because they don't simply watch Usyk fights , he comes out explosive in the first half of the fight and basically lets the opponent have his time in the middle rounds and goes all out in the last half of the fight . Same thing in the Bellew fight , Dubois , both joshua bouts , Breidis , michael hunter . Fury was phenomenal in the first fight , but i just don't see him winning rather than consistently power punchinf usyk to the head and body but that could wear him out quickly

I disagree there about Usyks fitness that he can be fitter in the rematch, on the contrary..he was the best he could've been.. Usyks always in shape always training, always gives it 100%..you're not gonna get 110% or 120% fitter in the rematch..because 100% is 100%...right?.. but we all know for a fact Fury can be fitter..not just condition wise but better tactically too.. he wasn't at his best..even though he was the lightest in years ..he still wasn't sparring enough due to the cut..so no one can convince me that his conditioning was 100%.. Fury definitely can be better in the rematch in both ways...but as for Usyk he's always 100% physically.. I cant see him suddenly getting more fitter than he already is, tactically he can maybe change a few things if he wanted.. but fitness wise he's already the best he can be..so he's not going to suddenly get fitter And more stamina. Tyson can change more than Usyk in the rematch.

Generally speaking if fury is against the ropes, he’s not going to get dropped so easily, and has a better chance of shithousing his way to a points win

So your advice to Fury is go on the front foot (something he's said he's not comfortable with) and throw uppercuts. He's doomed. He will NEVER be able to control the pace of this fight. One he doesn't have the stamina, two Usyk won't let him use dirty tactics like leaning.

He can do it for few rounds and it's his only chance because he doesn't have the stamina to outbox usyk for 12 rounds. He needs to unload on him and hope it works.

I am astonished that after the first fight the "Usyk is weak to the body" narrative is still a thing amonst certain UK sports media outlets. I do not believe he is weak to the body, but I also think Fury did an excellent job with the body shots, and Usyk was visibly getting slower and in the last 3 rounds was also breathing heavily. I think he was much more exhausted than he let on.

Anyone would be trying to move and dig in on a 19 stone lump like fury 😂 usyk definitely has another gear to go though, just look at him In the mairis briedis fight. In my opinion that was a much harder fight for him than fury

For fury to win it needs to end within 8 rounds’ with more calculated uppercuts and body shots and work on the feet a bit more and fury needs to take the centre of the ring and push usyk back

Theres more pressure on Usyk to win. Furys 0 is gone. Usyk has to maintain that 0. That very hard. When you have an 0 theres added pressure to keep that like that and theres always a target on your back.

If this fight is close Fury gets it. Its not about boxing its about money. The big money is the trilogy or even Fury vs Joshua for lots of belts. A Usyk win and possible retirement is a money disaster.

Tyson will prepare better for the second flight. he will avoid doing dummy acting. however he will be upset in the end. very similar how it happened in a second fight Usyk-vs-AJ

Fury is a bigger longer reach, more dangerous man, but he's going to lose if he plays/box honestly coz of the 12 rounds endurance he has to tough though with he's size.. I expect some under the belt hits in order to wear out Usek I hope I'm wrong.. I bet Usek will win.

Tyson might have focused on cardio, but as long as his belly is greedy he won't have elite fitness. I know of no fighter weighting 260+ lbs that has that kind of edurance, perhaps Jarrell Miller but he doesn't move that explosively and throws mostly arm punches.

I'm a Fury fan, he's a Mancunian like me, but I'm sorry to say that I don't think he's going to win the rematch, Usyk is just too good, and I defo think if the ref didn't jump in, Tyson was getting put to sleep! Usyk isn't undisputed champion for nothing, the guy is definitely the best heavyweight of this generation.

The style fury used against usyk didn't work against wilder either wilder had him down 2 times people think fury still won but he was fighting the champion in his back yard and was on the canvas 2 times. Usyk needed 10 punches to put fury down wilder needed 1. Fury looked weak in the usyk fight to much weight loss is not always a good thing that can effect a fighter's punch resistance. I said before john fury was to much involved in the 1st fight john the big bad hiding man he loves the attention he would never have stayed away from the media if he wasn't to blame. I honestly don't know who will win.

Call me a hater all you want but I think fury is the epitome of someone whos carried immense luck throughout his career without having to do much. I dont care about old age pensioners like klitchko, he was beaten many times before fury and yes there had to come a time when he lost but not until he was 40 and the fight was boring compared to joshuas at least Joshua Knocked kitchko out, and basket ball players like wilder ? well say no more, this mans resume sucks and im sick of hearing people defend it and talk like hes the greatest thing to come out of boxing, I dont call this hate i call it FACTS. Usyk is a genuine elite fighter and also a genuine christian unlike fury who only talks but his actions tell a different story. The quicker this fury circus ends the better.

Fury lost the first one becuz he ran out of gas. He has no conditioning ( cardio ) and he has no stamina. Usyk has both. Number 2. Fury has to punch when Usyk punches. That's the key. Usyk is a good defensive fighter & hard to hit. But he is vunerable when he is throwing punches. If Fury throw his punches when Usyk is punching, he'll win. If not, Fury will lose again.
