I am 71 years old and today I see exactly the same as in 1968 : peaceful protesters against a genocide, supported by the US government, police violence and a total refusal to hear the message these young people are screaming out loud. The establishment ignoring the reality : there is a genocide going on, supported by the US, funded by the US and executed with weapons that the US is providing. History repeated.... Media needs to report the true nature of the peaceful protests. For the most part they are anti-war protests against the killing of innocent Palestinian civilians. Very, very few among them are anti-Semitic, even fewer are pro-Hamas. They should still have legal permits and permission. Anyone commiting a violent act should be held accountable. Escalation on either side, police or protesters is unacceptable.
