I figure that I’m in the minority here with this thinking, recognizing that I don’t know much about ‘The Portal’, are there any expectations about ‘student athletes’ earning credits and being on track to actually graduate? Or is this clearly just pay for play and drop the facade of ‘student’ ? These athletic programs are connected to universities it would seem appropriate that people are earning degrees for life after sports. How about ‘you Can’t transfer unless you earn a specific # of credits first’

Nothing like that unfortunately. They need to go back to loss of eligibility if you transfer, maybe you can transfer the first time with no loss of eligibility, but any transfers after that result in a lot year of eligibility. There are athletes transferring 3 to 4 times to chase the next highest bidder.

@@pnwdweler4100there are also players who we deceived in recruitment and were never truly given opportunities or were in situation where politics where involved, there’s a lot of good MEN in that portal not just football players who haven’t had their time yet, and have worked hard for it and to even be in that position to begin with, not everybody is in there for money, a lot of those guys are in their for a reason and left their last university FOR A REASON my guys.
