I loved this show, in part because he loved her heart, not just her body. He loved her soul first. That is true love, true romance. Someone who is filled with a passionate desire to know, cherish, protect, and LOVE the other being. Not just sweat and lust and hormones, overwhelming the other person because it's what YOU want. He learned her heart and soul. No wonder she loved him. That gorgeous voice was the light to the beauty within. It's sad Mr. Perlman only had the voice. Vincent had everything else. They're timeless and unforgettable. Catherine and Vincent forever.🌹

At first she was scared of him because of his animal like appearance even teeth claws fur and all! Until she saw beneath that is innerbeauty and a golden heart. This show with X-men comics/the animated series, swamp thing comics/movies/show, alien nation franchise, Sloth in The Goonies etc taught me growing up not to judge a book by its cover. Hell even 1991’s version of the old BATB story tells us “do not be deceived by appearances for beauty is found within”

Then in the church scene when Kevin is greeted by Old Man marley, Marley tells Kevin the stories about him being a killer isn't true and he's a good old man who is as broken as Kevin.

freaker126 She was in it before. From what I heard, Linda Hamilton was offered the role in Terminator and so asked to leave the show. That's when the writers killed her off, the ratings plummeted, and the powers that be cancel the show halfway through the 3rd season.

An unusual choice. A powerful scene, certainly, but your favorite when there are so many other fantastic ones to choose from? True, I sobbed like an infant when I first saw it (and still do), but I also had a very strong desire to feed Gabriel his teeth before stabbing him in every organ in reverse order of importance so he would suffer as much as possible. To this day, I shudder to think of him.
