The story is little bit different from what we know from the show: Igraine and Uther love each other so much and they want a baby, both of them desperately, and the change of this story is that Igraine knew it would be her life for baby and she wanted to do it anyway, so Uther is no villain in this :)

This is a lovely video. That said; that's what makes the canon scenario darker- if it was the two of them together making the decision, then Uther losing his sh*t when time for the payment comes... that would be one thing- a sh*tty thing, but slightly more understandable, I guess... What *actually* happens is a bit more disturbing, imo. How could you *not* talk to someone you love, about something like this? Uther blames everyone & everything but himself for what's wrong with their world, when *he* was the author of many of Camelot's problems- his choices birthed his & his son's future enemies.
