I think I speak for everyone, if you want to just focus on playing we wouldn't blame you for the lack of narration. Or if you want to record audio over the game after the fact. We want to see you go as far as you can!

He’s said before that he doesn’t want to do voiceover because he gets tired after the games and doesn’t want to spend twice the time per video, and that not speaking wouldn’t actually improve his performance much.

You're a good sport Marc. You're obviously disappointed, but you played well and gave good entertainment and analysis. Special is a tough early seed, and I also think you psyched yourself out a bit; you might have been better served throwing more craziness in, as that's what you've been focused on recently. A great series of videos, in any case.

@corbeau-_-5 ай бұрын
@@AlexandriaLibraryGame unlikely, yeah... Anyway, I hope he goes out with a blast late in the tournament: His game and the constant chat are pretty entertaining. He's really enjoying himself, for the others it is much more of an all-in. His plays work well on the tier below the pro-gamers, mosty because his APM and micro are still no joke - even though he's lost much of his progaming know-how - like knowing maps, timings, etc. etc. But I want the best to win and I'd like to see someone just stomp him at every turn. It's amazing to see god-like players, even though I like Thermy a lot.

I only wanted to add that your post-match analysis is one of my favourite things in your videos. I may leave some of the early or mid game in the background only listening to it, but when the analysis comes on, you have my full focus. You make it absolutely perfect. If anything, I want more and longer analyses.

I love watching Marc's growth as a player and human. I'm a sore loser myself and often rage quit after losing. Especially when I feel I couldn't show my all, but Marc stays with the good vibes and focuses on his enjoyment and his viewer's. I really respect and envy that ability!
@zerkmerk82575 ай бұрын
A growth as a smurf killer? Maybe if he didn't spend so much time beating up on people worse then him for views, and actually practices vs his equals, he would have been able to qualify. I wonder how many people he has made rage quit with his smurfing?

My dear Marc, I am a huge fan of yours and I think you deserve the first place in a Pro Starcraft Tournament not only because you are an amazing player, but you also have a wonderful personality, and you bring us a lot of joy, it is a very rare combination. From my subjective point of view, I strongly believe that you did not lose at Starcraft in front of Special, his gameplay wasn’t spectacular nor unbeatable, you lost these two games against your own mind. It is the first time I have seen you playing with fear. You literally hypnotized your mind with your worries. In each video you make you play fearlessly, and you are unbeatable. I think you can outplay even Clem, but with the right mindset! I think this is how Oliveira won last time, with a different mindset! I think you can smash even the Koreans if you are not afraid of them in your mind, and truth is you are a World Class Champion!!!

Marc playing in a tournament: "I need to defend this. I need to defend that. If he does this. If he does that. He's so good at this. He's going to do this. He's going to do that." Marc playing normally: "Im going to do this crazy strategy. I'm going to go do this. What if I did this instead, then I can win this way. Maybe I'll do this to trick him. When I did this. When I did that." Marc psyches himself out in tournaments. But I get it. He is playing the best of the best.

Really appreciate the analysis from practice to the tourney. Took me a while to watch since I get second hand stressed out. I'm strictly a spectator(never played wayy too hard), and I enjoy learning about the game but am frequently the person questioning how it can be over based on surface stats. My favorite wtf moment is when a top tier pro Zerg player has 3/4 of the map, 4x the bank, but the opponent is a Terran and the poor Zerg grinds to dust. Blows my mind. Gumiho beat a Zerg whose name I'm forgetting.
