I think in "game 3" situations, you should allow yourself to go ham and play your best. It's a huge handicap to play a strat when you've already made it clear to your opponent what's coming.

1:40 I couldn't find the specific links I saw a couple years ago, but your brain does go into AutoPilot mode, quite a bit, and a lot more for things you're very skilled at. You don't need to think about 'doing' the thing, you can focus on how well you're sounding, how perfect that corner was, or how many headshots you're getting. You can even do something else entirely with your consciousness, like talk to the camera and to your audience, while your AutoPilot does everything you need it to do for you.

When your proxy CC fails to plant and planetary, I'd enjoy seeing you build SCVs out of it cross map. Then you can load them up into the CC and when you do the main build, you can use 5 or so to repair the cc as it morphs.

If your planetary isn’t under threat and chilling with an SCV on auto-repair, maybe try mining from a nearby mineral if it looks possible. I think it’d be kinda funny/efficient to be stealing handfuls on minerals from your opponents natural 😂 why not? This is easily one of my favorite series!

Its a reaper passive ability. When they dont fight they heal.

Ye it was added later in the game cycle. Reapers were too strong as a core unit, so they were nerfed to the point where they are basically good for early scouting and that is it. Which is why players try to trade them out early on. The regeneration helps to keep the health topped off, because after you build 1-3 reapers you almost never build more. It just helps so if it gets scratched early on, you can keep it around a tiny bit longer.

PF rush is more powerful in BO3 than in BO1. Who would think to themselves: "hmm better be careful my opponent might do that again" after being PF rushed? Nobody. You'll take them by even more surprise the second game.

Uthermal. I love this series. For some extra spice, you should try a second PF if the first one fails. I know minerals are tight with the build already, but it would be extremely funny if your opponent sees a second PF after the first gets knocked out.

I loved that video. 👍 I just realized, that you did proxy Nexus, proxy Hatch, and Proxy PF, but Proxy PF is only half of Proxy CC, we still don't have proxy Orbital. Maybe in that last game you could have made your proxy CC into a proxy Orbital? Or maybe have a backup plan to proxy CC/Orbital at golden minerals?

I feel like a lot of the value comes from the downtempo play. Not only are players not used to dealing with PF rush but its a big unit with lots of HP that takes lots of time to kill. That time and those units out of position can make or break games. You got the 6K mmr terran F2ing marines back into his base.

You gotta be less yolo with those Liberators, Bro. The first two were pretty much thrown away by bad positioning. If not for that, you would definitely have been able to break out. The PFs too far forward as well, where they can be hit by Tanks from the high ground (unless you're doing that to bait them to where the Clones can kill them?). Fun seeing it in a tourney though! PF 4 life!

Watching that "delayed" PF I have question or maybe even idea for something to try: Double Planetary Rush. Especially if opponent decides to play safely before destroying it or tries to destroy it from start you put another one somewhere else. May not be wise, but should be hilarious... and maybe disrespectful. (I'm noob at starcraft and rts in total)

i think you had the 2nd game in the bag man, if you just believed in yourself a little more and not panic, it would have been fine, sometimes we overthink things like "is it gonna scout it? yes or no?" but nah man you've already shown before that even when a protoss probe scouts it you are more than capable of playing out of that situation just fine

you need to use the pf building scv to repair the cyclones your building placement in that last game was oddly harmful. trolling around his main with a cc and 1 scv was completely hilarious, "spells" that only consume attention are very effective, it might just be better to never land the cc and troll the entire game. Can hover it behind the minerals on some maps, every time you show it they have to do something about it. The more epic your pf rushes get the more I want to see a second pf and a whole fleet of them. Maybe in the supper late game one can build 2 cc and use them to sacrifice scv's by doing a drop. ha-ha Or maybe if you play a late game (with ground units so they have minimal turrets/cannons/spores) you can make a few cc's to troll around their bases during the big fight. Say 4 large objects flying over your bases should present a worthy distraction that consumes way more attention/apm than moving a few cc's, if something is shooting at them is not a problem, they have plenty of hp. Your idea to save the pf for when he made his push was brilliant, to bad you got greedy :P I also learn a new thing, if you suspect the opponent build a proxy but you didn't find it his unit pathing will be slightly towards the side where the proxy is not. Look at your reaper, it retreats back home but it slightly nudges to the side where the cc is not :P
