A mule mines 25 minerals per trip and is able to make 8-9 trips before it expires, collecting 200-225 minerals over its life. In that first game oppo scanned a total of 13 times, so oppo effectively lost out on 2600-2925 minerals that could have harvested by mules. Of those 13 scans, 2 were for scouting (the first one when oppo broke the proxy hatch, the second to get vision of the high ground where their cyclones were going) and one was for detection during a fight (just after the roaches ambushed the cyclones), the rest were strictly for creep clear. So if you only count those 10 scans then those creep tumours baited oppo into losing out on 2000-2250 minerals (not including the time spent by their third CC hovering over the creep not producing any SCVs). They already had the tech requirements to spend 100 minerals and 150 gas to build a raven even before the first creep clear scan.

I will never understand scanning for creep in early game and mid game. Late game when you have like 10 orbitals. The only exception I see is if you are on the opponent's side of the map early, with some hellions/marines and want to delay the creep spread. By the time the opponent left his base there was already too much to justify the scans.

Hey Thermy! I think that a Random to Rank 1 challenge sounds incredible. There isn’t much in the way of Random-specific content out there, so I think it may be a relatively untapped niche. I also think you can come up with some decent thumbnails and video titles that capitalize on the chaos / unknown factor of Random matches - stuff like “Protoss player never expected Random Ultralisks” or “RNG says it’s time to Widowmine” etc.

Watching this makes me think of Serral and his cheesevolution of play. Have you considered the 15/15 Hatch/Pool build for more of the crazy amount of possible (cheesy) stuff you can do with that? I feel like there's still many things about Zerg that hasn't been properly explored, like mid-to-late game spine-spore forests to steer and bog down advances, and macro hatches in unorthodox positions to cement harder to defend positions between bases. Edit: Oh! Also any type of strangle build would be fun to see where the goal is to target as many supply depots/pylons/overlords as possible. Can't fight back if you can't have an army.

I am quite sure that you can put burrow and unburrow in the same key, in the options. There’s a flag that you have to toggle in order to allow it first. No need to edit the file for this.

Hey Marc, one idea to not lose followers of a certain race might be to come up with a "Random specific" title...... something like "Random cheese (TTZP) Roaches can't be stopped!!" then at least your terran followers would know there is some terran content in there

There are times when simply using the spine on the depot is better than attacking the scvs, especially if you don't feel you can break the Terran anyway - because the repair costs will prevent them from building a bigger army.

16:40 In general I think the x to GM series is too easy and it gets most interesting when youre in GM and keep going. Going for top x rank in GM instead would make for better series. Random thumbnails will need some editing help. Think making 2-3 vertical thumbnails, one per game or race played in the video, and stitch them together with a flashy effect separating them. Title and thumbnail text can proceed as usual. Just make sure to show primarily your own units, so we can see what races/strats you're up to that day.

i,m not a Sc2 pro player or something. I only played campaign and COOP commanders. But i know that you can click on Overloard when they r getting rdy to pop out and rally them to some point instead of the rally point of the towncenter . I'm a Terran player, and I always watch your Terran videos. As for Protoss and Zerg, I watch them olny when I'm really bored. If you write at the begining of the title that it is a Random video, I will watch every single one no matter what is on the thumbnail. I prefer a random spinning wheel challenge though.
