At 34:50 "Glaive adepts are un-beatable" Roach warrens cost 150 minerals, no gas, and don't take that long to build. If you scout them going for glaive more than a minute before they hit your base, you can hard-counter them. Plus you've already got the lair, so tunneling claws would make a fun follow-up.

@34:00 when you realized MCV shaded his adepts to attack your base while you had zerglings in his base, wouldn't it have been good to pull back your drones to the high ground and wall it off with your queens behind the wall? You get to deal damage to his workers while he can't get passed your wall. Am I not correct that a higher ELO player would have seen that as a checkmate move? I could be wrong but I think you had the win there.

Some day I would love to see a "challenge" where you play Zerg diligently with creep spread :). Something along the the lines of only attacking on creep, and then that opens up cheese with overload creep / nydus queens, but also longer macro games where you have to push creep across the map. Maybe throw in a unit restriction just because it is you lol

Marc, I have an idea : Burrow drones around an entrance in a pattern that allow you to unborrow them, place evolution chambers where they are, so that it surrounds enemy army so they can't escape, then roll in with the banelings !

Against glave adeps you should save your drones in overlords, kill his drone and then defend

I have same suggestion always 1) main comp hydra/viper (imagine 8+ vipers constantly pulling opponent units into hydra ball) 2) main units are liberators 30+ and small bunch unupgraded marines

There is a variation on the ling drop where you include 2 banes with it. Ideally the first 2 lings stay and morph at the same time as the dropperlords, nned to build 2 extra drones and bane nest, only costs few seconds to add. Note that banes in speed dropolords are way better against adepts than regular banes. Spinecrawlers are also not THAT expensive in a mass ling play.

How would the 15 hatch extractor trick into ling drop play out? It would head fake a macro build but in testing i was able (even at 3.9k) to get lings into the ovies with ovie speed even at 345. So only a few secs later but tricking the toss into a less aggressive build usually sllows it to hit harder in my testing.

At 34:00 you could of won if you made a wall and then ran home after killing his probes Speaking of if you get better at zerg and protoss then you could play random in a tournament. Which gives you a massive advantage against protoss aka your worst matchup and just allows you to throw people off even more

Be careful about traveling to Mexico with recording equipment. I've heard the airport security stops streamers on the way out and demand them to pay thousands of dollars because they're "filming in Mexico without a permit".

Sine I see yo ubeing aggressive, you can do a offbeat, if you think its going ot be a specifc counter, could use a forward zerg, and then use hte larva nd savings to build the counter, while feathering drones still. in this regard, you would have a less likely chance to lose early and it would force out a macro game that is more established, but all ins are pipeline tech, which is hard ocutnered sometimes, but zerg is so repsonsive as a species, that you can hold off building for 10 seconds and then q all up.... this way... what you build isn't wasted, as in the hydras verse adepts... Mutas would of been the best choice... and if you seea counter attack, walling off top side is always duable. yeah... mutas would only be a coutner measure and have ot be replaced out, its like teh type of play is liek the glass cannon, that strieks but can be struck bakc and collapse... but I think tis why zerg became my faovurite, if yo uahve the required buidling, you can coutner so easy and swap out entire armies, and throw your enemy really off.. Sure you take 10-15 seconds of base damage, but yo ubuild a counter and that coutners typicalyl further production of said unit... becuase itsa loss of rss.. and buildings and units have a tally you can kepe track off. so sure you lost a evo chamber. and maybe a hatchery... but no units.. etc... burrow is always pretty good, for zvz and zvp for hiding drone lines sometimes and annoying players. zvt its hit and miss becasue of scan, but baiting scans with burrow is super good, because it takes away tehir economic power spikes..
