The idea is really fun and I love it. One thing to consider: I wouldn't worry too much about looking bad for the other players, because we rarely notice. I speak as a mainly 2v2 player who gravitates around platinum/Diamond, and I know I can look at the first moves of my ally to see if he has standard openings or forgets to build/move his stuff, but after the first reaper is out it's 90% attention on yourself and 10% on your mate!

I hate to come across with a criticism that might seem overly harsh, but pretending to be a beginner for our entertainment is silly. You spend so long trying to convince someone (who may or may not even realise the difference between a Grandmaster or a Gold player) through your actions, and explaining to us what you're doing despite us, the viewer, not understanding it from the Team mates perspective. This means the entertainment value isn't within the game of StarCraft 2 anymore, but in the unaware Teammate who, especially early on, is supposed to fall for your ruse and then... be overjoyed when your masked skill gets wins? What's the aim here, because your skill has always been applying your skill and experience to situations in the 1v1 scene to overcome odds with the mastery of the game, and I'm not seeing that when a second, oblivious, player is being pulled on for the ride. Granted this might seem harsh because we're not going to know how your team mate feels about it after the fact, but games are supposed to be fun, and as a viewer I'm not seeing how it could be when this feels like active sabotage under the guise of 'I'm a new player!'

hi uthermal! i have been watching your channel for a while and this video inspired me to try sc2 for the first time! i lost my first game by spamming marines (the enemy zerg had like max supply zerglings and I only had like 30 marines, omg! you taught me to make planetaries but he blew them up with banelings...) but then i won my second game by rushing battlecruisers! the enemy had like 20 spore crawlers but i killed them all! thank you for your fun videos :)) p.s. i spent like 3 minutes supply blocked.. if you do more of these beginner videos you have to get supply blocked hahaha

Marc I have a beginner “strategy” suggestion, try to make as even a mix of every unit possible, like the garbage bag build. Just make a little of everything regardless of opponents builds and try to make the most of it. Would be awesome and fun to see you microing and macroing that.

You could do a tag team type game where you and goblin play with gold players. You get a gold ally and goblin gets a gold ally. Every 2 minutes you and goblin take over the controls and the golds stop playing. This can be done using archon mode
