I don't think finding positives in invasive species makes them any easier to remove. Using living invasives for our various needs has been proven time and time again to be a terrible idea because they will inevitably escape cultivation

I agree with you but she isn't talking about cultivating invasive species, she is saying that, instead of "burning" them, they should upcycle them, use them. Just imagine the amount of recources spared and profit made.
