I really appreciate the choreography on this one. There's a noticeable lack of intricate/complicated dancing with this one--especially in comparison to... like... every other vocaloid song. Vocaloid songs with this much energy usually have some intense dance routines, but not this one. No, there's nothing complicated with this song. It feels like someone did their homework. That's not to say Miku is only singing and lifeless on stage. Hell, no, she's just as lively as ever! She's bouncing, she spinning, she's headbanging better than I ever will in my fucking life! There's an energy to her despite the lack of classic Miku-dancing--because it actually matches the genre she's performing. How out of place would it be if a heavy metal band were to have a rehearsed dance break during the breakdown of their song (sole exception being Baby Metal, but they're all about breaking the mold in the genre don't @ me)? Miku looks like she's ready to jump off stage and join a mosh pit. This blue haired 16yo Japanese virtual pop idol just fucking rocked a heavy metal song. And it fits. And it's perfect. And this performance is a masterpiece from the band to the light show to the dancing.

The amps here are holographic but in the Untitled online live show, they were replaced with real amps to make it look like Miku was actually interacting with the objects on stage. Just wish they did the same thing here

As an longtime metalhead i still get goosebumps from that growl and headbang part. It is just so unexpected to see something like this from anything official. Fuck yes!

Utsu-p is really in a class of their own with their tuning. Like how do you make Miku sound good for screamo?!

So, 2020 was 2020. During that time I - like a large number of people - fell into the VTuber rabbit hole. Along the way, I gained a taste for Vocaloid music. Though I fit into the metal scene more than any other genre, I have never been one to shy away from finding a love for new types of music like this (except modern country). Naturally, most of Utsu-P's has been very appealing to me. To now see that a heavy AF song like this is getting love in live venues... well it makes me wish that I had paid more attention to Vocaloid-based music earlier on! Not because it's heavy, but because it's so different from most of the popular songs. The diversity in sound and people's willingness to embrace it is just awe-inspiring!

Yeah... Vocaloid made me like traditional japanese song, theatre, metal and other genres as well... I think it's because i like vocaloid not the genre. And from vocaloid i branched out to babymetal, ladybeard etc. Its just a great starting gate. I was so lucky to know vocaloid back in 2010.

I don't understand why it hit me that much. I listen to Utsu-P for quite a while now but seeing this live record for some reason made burst into laughter followed by crying and vise-versa. So weird. This single video gave me more emotions then climax of long running show or anime. I wonder what would happen to me if i was there. I never been to live performances of any kind that i've actually like and/or held dear to my heart.
