I have a 550 sportsman and its amazing I'm looking into getting a ranger for hunting and cleaning my trails an trail rideing my sportsman is my mud rider

Hey dirttrax, you forgot to mention 1 more little difference between the 400 and the 500, and it is that the 500 has the standard Polaris speedo/instrument cluster. That is all :)
