You know what makes me mad that this girl who was on the charter bus said b4 he shot them he said y'all are always messing with me why isn't ESPN talking about that part of it not saying anything they did should have cost them their lives but everyone wants to say how good of men these 3 were but were they??? Bullying is a serious problem in American schools wether it's elementary middle high school or college so there for they did something bad enough for him to snap so I just wish we could get the entire story and why I really hope the suspect tells the court exactly what made him and what they did to cause him to go that far!!!!!

Actually that’s rumored and not confirmed. Apparently the guy had many things going and was supposed to be facing disciplinary actions for bringing the gun on campus prior to the shooting. The shooter’s father also admitted that his son was talking strangely the weeks leading up to the murders and talking of being watched and “targeted”. Additionally, at least one of the guys became a football player after the shooter left the team so why target him? Sound like possible mental illness; he’s the demographic for it (male in his 20’s).

In respect to the men that lost their lives. To the people who witnessed and experienced this tragedy. I send my condolences to all lives involved. I raise the question today. When will people treat people as they want to be treated. I was listening to testimony about the situation before the tragedy took place. I just want to know why were these men harassing the brother who pulled the trigger. I recall that one of the victims physically pushed the suspect. How can you speak highly of a person who or a group of people who may have possibly assaulted the suspect. I say that to say this. We gotta stop avoiding what happen to save grace on people's flaws. Had the suspect never got harassed or assaulted. This all could have been avoided. I'm not defending the act of murder. I'm simply saying. We have to treat people better. I was raised to keep my hands to myself as a young person. It has greatly benefited me in life. When will policies change to benefit people well being. When will we stop hiding the small issues that lead up to tragic endings. There should be a no touch policy on every school campus in America. Until we set higher standards for the safety and well being for others. We will continue to see tragedies such as the ones those people witnessed that day. I post this to put something on the minds of leaders witin the school administration. Create a (no touch) policy and hold people accountable for their actions or prepare to see things get worse in America. Change it or prepare to face the music of people who are tired of being secretly harassed by people who think they have the right to assault others without consequences.

Where is this testimony about harassment that you speak of? Is their a link? Need to read all that info for myself
@ME-sk1dl2 жыл бұрын
@@sonyabolden9652 Listen to the gunman's father's report as well as the female witness who was on that bus the day of the shooting. Something isn't adding up. A person just doesn't shoot people without cause. I'm not saying it doesn't happen in America, but in this case I feel the gunman was being harassed. The brother/gunman was a college student that experienced some form of harassment by other students while he was enrolled on campus. I'm sure the testimony of the gunman will come out soon. Nobody is above the law and I don't stand for murder in no way shape or form. I pray this is a game changer for all College campuses. All schools need to protect the well being of anyone who claims they are being harassed or invoked while enrolled as student, point blank. Even as a teacher or worker, full protection& accountability is badly needed. Unfortunately the system we depend on has failed, especially if the gunman felt like he couldn't get proper help due to the status and nature of the men who the gunman claims was harassing him. Just listen to the reports. That information was given clearly. These victims were claimed to be harassing the gunman for some time before this tragedy took place. Listen to the gunman's father speak on it. This is a lose-lose situation because lives were lost and now another man locked up.

There is no excuse for what this student did, which was unacceptable and horrendous. However, more colleges and universities could do a lot more to support first-generation college students who come from at-risk, dysfunctional home environments. When at-risk students attend college, they have no idea what they're doing. They don't know how to relate to college, relate to professors and other college students. Christopher Jones, Jr., the shooter, hadn't been living with his parents since he was 16. His father, who was interviewed about the shooting, seemed apathetic. His father even trivialized his son's cries for help before the shooting occurred. It takes a lot for children to come to their parents for help, and Christopher told his father that he was being bullied by other students and he felt paranoid. All signs point to a home that was completely unsupportive and dysfunctional. Christopher basically had no parents. He was living with his grandmother prior to going to college, which is typical in at-risk communities. I was an educator in predominately black schools for many years. Witnessing the rampant dysfunction in many of today's families, It is only by God's grace that more students don't go this way. There are far too many people without values and standards. People are not having kids (on purpose). They are not living right and respecting the difference between right and wrong. Students are outrageously disrespectful towards teachers and other students in many of today's schools, from elementary school and beyond. Adults don't want to act mature anymore and do grown-up things, like get married, PLAN for a family, and set expectations and goals for themselves and their kids. People are making poor choices and children today are showing us (in their behavior) the outcome of a degenerate society.
