I remember the closest I ever came to a school shooting in my school. I was the same age and grade as the Uvalde kids, 10 years old. Someone stormed into the office and started threatening everyone and we got put on lockdown. I remember sitting in the corner in the dark classroom crying my eyes out. The teacher was trying to read to us to calm us down , I just remember my best friend holding me not knowing what to expect. I was lucky it never turned into more, but I can’t say the same fate for the Uvalde kids. Just breaks my heart so many innocent lives were lost and the fear they probably felt in their last moments is heart shattering.

I remember studying at my university when this happened. Knowing i was doing exactly what those kids were. Learning. I felt a small sense of guilt, why an elementary school and not a university? Why kids?

Father God, in the name of Jesus, heal Amy's mind from all trauma and her physical body from any complications she is suffering from due to the stress from May 24,2022. Give her peace of mind, stop her body from trembling with anxiety and torment over something she had no control over. Let her be surrounded by family, friends with love and give her joy that only You can bring her from this day and throughout her future. Amen. We love you, Amy ♥

The officers watched the gunman walk 3 minutes through the field to enter the school even watching him have to jump over a fence They could have reached inside of the school before the Shooter who was already named an active shooter before entering the school since he shot at his grandmother and civilians on the street this should have gotten immediate police engagement

Maybe the teacher should have locked the door and the principal should have got on the horn and warned the kids and teachers..LOCKDOWN..That's how it works..Been through dozens of drills and 3 real threats..Sue them....He just strolled through the door and down the hall to the open door and his helpless victims... Wasn't just the Cops who dropped the ball..in fact they got hundreds of kids safely out of there to their frantic parents..
