Just watching you work is extremely beneficial. i play these over and over, and then duplicate or do something similar without using you as a reference, until it's down in my head. Knowing your tools is highly profitable. Thank you!!

Falcon is great for making pads, from subtle hints all the way up to great big soundscapes. This video shows how easy it is, well done.

Thanks dude! And for sure, I love making these types of sounds in Falcon - really nothing else like it!

Completely awesome! Perfect for someone like me, who just purchased Falcon, and who love ambient soundbeds, pads, textures, drones - and especially Granular synthesis! Thank you again for your time and effort! And you know? If you ever create a Falcon tutorial series or course on DVD, I am in!

Glad they've been helpful! I really love Falcon for this kind of stuff. You can also use the free 'Falcon Punch' script to create generative patches that you can render out and then drop in the granular engine for some wicked ambience/drone design. I might do a video on that in the future!

nice video ,can i do this with directwave in FL studio?
@VenusTheory6 жыл бұрын
Hey dude! You might be able to pull of something similar! However, there wouldn't be access to any granular modes at least that I'm aware of. But, definitely worth a shot, you never know what you'll end up with!

I want to get into hybrid orchestra music. I already own Omnisphere 2 but am thinking of getting Falcon 2. Do you think it is worth it or should I get a orchestra library instead like Nucleus or Ark 1 and come back to Falcon later?

How impressive you are man? Ahhahah , iy's kust feel that you can do EVERY genre , you always now what to do with synths and there are always no error or no mistake..amazing man!
@VenusTheory6 жыл бұрын
Haha well I don't really think so, but with experience/time you do start to realize how closely related most things are. It's always good to experiment with making music in other genres or producing other acts in another genre, teaches you quite a bit!

Venus Theory Yep , the experience and experiment are both important , true!

What about Falcon makes the sound different from just using samplers? Is the granular part blending them together differently than just playing the individual elements together? I want to make sure Falcon is worth the money before I get it.
@VenusTheory6 жыл бұрын
Hey dude! So, in short, the main 'cool' think about Falcon is it's utilization of the IRCAM engine for sampling which (to put it simply) just makes things sound as they should, but allows you to manipulate things quite a bit without introducing artifacts (like you may find if you do similar things with Kontakt or others). It also offers many different sampler modes like Kontakt, but I find for the more extreme purposes Falcon is the clear winner since it uses IRCAM. In this tutorial, what I'm doing is using several different sampler modes (straight sampler, and granular) to achieve the end result, it doesn't really make a difference what engine mode you're using. I just use granular here as I knew that I wanted it to have that big granular sound you can't really get any other way. I've got two reviews out on Falcon in case you haven't seen them though - highly recommend it all around, I absolutely adore this plugin.
