I have owned a Memorymoog since I was 18 (hey that's how many voices it has!) and this is about as close as I've heard with software. Well done guys!

Enticement. The GUI architecture is inviting. Such clarity of function and control, and with no shortage of options. Sounds delicious as well.

Yes, it is! Josh Carney. Way better demonstrator than that "Venus Theory" guy. Annotations in the videos make a big difference.

UVI team PLEASE PLEASE sample some classic samplers. I cant see anyone who had done that. Sample say the classic AKAI early MPC range. Literally a copy within software with a few added bells and whistles for ease of use etc.

Have been waiting for MOOG to release a memorymoog iPad app......... For my purposes this is the only synth I need. Only thing missing is that beautiful control panel.

I just downloaded an update. but what are the technical release nots??
@UVIofficial3 жыл бұрын
When an update is available, you can go to your UVI Portal app and click on the little Information button ( i ) next to the category of the product. You'll find technical information there, along with a link to download the release notes in a PDF file :)

So I’m a little confused. This is a sample engine where they basically sampled every knob position of that hardware synth?
@MegaBadgeman21 күн бұрын
II use the Syntronik by IK Multimedia where they sampled raw waveforms then used some form of computer modelling to recreate the filters. I think maybe they do the same here.

PX P-10 with different GUI and some more presets? What’s different besides those things? Hmmmm... 🤔
@henrikpetersson34634 жыл бұрын
They are based off two completely different synths. PX P-10 is based off the Prophet 10 and PX Memories is based off the Memorymoog/Lintronics LAMM.
@flacobass4 жыл бұрын
Thank you, Henrik! The GUI's looked so similar and it was a bit confusing to watch each of their perspective walk through videos. I'm definitely getting this Memorymoog version!
@henrikpetersson34634 жыл бұрын
@@flacobass Yeah, all these UVI synths share very similar GUIs. They don't try to replicate the original interfaces like Arturia does for example, instead they have a common layout for most of them. They are more "inspired by" rather than replicas.

Question: if I already have U-He DIVA, V Collection 7, and Synapse Obessions (OB-Xa vst), Is this worth getting? Seriously. If anyone with U-He, Arturia, or Synapse products could give their input on UVI products, I'd appreciate it. I like the sounds; I just wanna know if I already have what this product is offering.
@axelmaldini42184 жыл бұрын
The VST that you have are emulations, this library is extracted from the original, with the original spirit, do not hesitate, buy it, it is the best in analog samples that I have heard of this sound beast that was the Moog Memorymoog LAMM.
@spoogiedaboogieman4 жыл бұрын
@@axelmaldini4218 thank you brotha 🙏 what's your opinion on the vintage vault UVI is selling? They're better than U-He, Synapse, and Arturia?
@axelmaldini42184 жыл бұрын
@@spoogiedaboogieman The v3? Yes I have bought it, it's crazy, but it happens to me that it brings so many sound options that I get lost and I turn off the computer, it drives me crazy...haha, I start with a solid and when you start to go deeper you go crazy, and time goes by and then you keep modifying sounds ...haha, but it's a beast, it's expensive, around $599, the good thing about the new PX Memories module is that you have the analog sounds there and you won't program too much and they sound amazing. It happens to me that in Vault 2 and 3 I get lost!!! hahaha but that's just me...cheers and peace brother!
@spoogiedaboogieman4 жыл бұрын
@@axelmaldini4218 haha man I feel the same about Arturia's V Collection. I still haven't gone thru all the presets. However, I have a feeling Vintage Vault 3 is gonna be worth it's price tag; I'm gunna get it eventually (perhaps black Friday sale). I just downloaded px memories and I can't wait for it to finish downloading. Thanks again 😎

As usual these will be included in the next version of Vintage Vault. But those who have purchased them along the way will get a discount on the VV4 upgrade.

I wish I would have known it was over 28 fuhggin gigs before I purchased. It says it’s going to take 24hrs to install! 😠 Are you serious?!?!? It better sound amazing with that size. That’s quite a chunk out of hd space.
@jstarman014 жыл бұрын
You have the day off... You see a good deal on a soft synth. You purchase assuming you’ll have a fun time tweaking on a new toy on said day off... After purchase you find out it’s OVER 28Gb and it will take a day to load and your day off is shot. Not to mention your internal HD space is low already. Money well spent (?) ...caviat emptor

This is more for those who see your comment than a reply - throw the soundbanks on an external SSD (or even a USB 3 HDD). Same is the case for Native Instruments libraries, Arturia libraries, Live/Logic libraries etc. So basically any music libraries. As long as the main software is on the system drive (UVI Workstation, NI Komplete Kontrol, Live, Logic etc), where the libraries are doesn’t really matter. It’s literally 1 or 2 secs to load a preset vs 1. Go into UVI portal preferences and change the temp folder and soundbanks folders to an external drive. As for time downloading - sometimes it’s faster doing direct download from the site. If so, download to your computer then throw the UFS file to wherever your soundbanks are (or wherever you told workstation/portal they should be). Just bear in mind the download is a zip, so a 30GB zip - you need another 30GB of space to unzip the UFS file then delete the zip. So maybe download the zip to the external and unzip there if you’re low on space (it’s why they have that temp folder when downloading through portal - for the zip). I have this, VV3, a few other UVI soundbanks, NI Komplete 13 and all the synths and expansions, Maschine, v collection, Live 11 and Logic and most of the libraries are on a 2TB external SSD (although 1 is probably fine), and my system SSD is just 512GB. Have 300 left and that’s only because 100 is boot camp and for Izotope plug ins I haven’t found a way to get those libraries onto the external. Yes, UVI portal can be ridiculously slow at downloading - sometimes 1-2mbps on a gigabit connection, but grab them off the site and it’s faster in my experience (the site will try to get you to use portal but go to the uvi - my products page and direct download the soundbanks there).
