You can always put in Aspect of Wolf to make it more budget friendly and/or add Blood Lust if you still want to keep the ambush strategy.

Splash red def brings in more options. I really like Aspect of Wolf in combination with Tracker btw.

@Savannah Lion Thank you!!! I like dreamy pleasant images, it feels nice to look at this image. Nice song by Gino Vannelli. However, my preference is for The Pebbles (Belgian group from the 60s), nice swinging music. Henk, have a very nice weekend too!

Your Stompy deck is super 🔥

Nice games. I always liked mono green. I'd always add a few crumbles main, they're probably better than the Ankhs in this deck.

Game 1 was closer than I would have expected given the explosive open

Me2, I remember looking at his life total and thinking, “Wow, I can actually still win this!” 🥳

Green Budget is always fun to play. Your version is still a little bit more budget then Edwin's.

Serendibs in a control shell don’t work that well. I tried them as well but got stuck on a situation just like in game 2 here. Good blocker… that pings you every turn. Love the simplicity of mono green.

I get your point, but I’m afraid it actually works very good. Lion/Div is a staple T1 deck in os, I think he just needs two more duals and some lion 🫣

@@TimmytheSorcerer but that uw lion dib is not a control deck. It is an aggressive tempo deck. Fast threat, and defend it. It doesn’t play tomes for the grindy long games.

True, it’s a mix. Most people play it as a control deck in my experience. Slow with counter back up. Almost like the deck, but def without the books 📚

@@TimmytheSorcerer. That Serendib/Lion deck is what I'd call an aggro deck with a control package, but not a straight up control deck.
@TimmytheSorcerer2 жыл бұрын
I agree, it’s def not a full on control build, but looking at the people playing it who win with it, they pilot it as a control player would in most match-ups. Anyway, interesting to see this variant with dibs and books.

I wouldn't really call that deck "The Deck". This is more of a basic control deck with an aggro component. Not every WU control deck in OS is "The Deck", Weissman had some very specific cards that made his deck a "unique" control deck, as far as an OS control deck can be.
